ingredients: chicken wings - 6 to 7 pieces garlic - 2 cloves ginger - 2 small pieces cola - 1 can salt - small tea spoon
tools : a pot big enough to fit the chicken wings. : kitchen stove
preparation:
1.wash the chicken wings thoroughly with water.rub some salt in them and massage as this can clean the chicken wings from germs. then rinse away the salt.
2. put the chicken wings into pot , pour in the whole can of cola, throw in the garlic and ginger and the small teaspoon of salt. never add sugar because the cola already contains sugar.add little water to the pot etc half cup of water.light the stove and turn to big heat.
3. turn to small heat when it boils.simmer till chicken wings are cooked, approximately 20-25 mins.stir the chicken wings from time to time while they are simmering in the pot to make sure they get the taste from the sauce and also thoroughly cooked. add water whenever the water level is low but not too much.
4. serve with rice .
this dish is not a dry dish, so don't leave the chicken wings to cook till the sauce dries out.the chicken wings are cooking from the slow boiling sauce. it's easy to cook and taste great. the sauce is great on rice. mix some sauce with the rice and u have a great lunch or dinner.
im sharing this because this is so easy to cook and the ingredients are easy to get. it is actually not an unhealthy dish because 1 can of cola cant kill you as a lot of people drink few cans a day. it tastes great and easy to prepare.u can actually get this done in under 30 minutes. just make sure the wings are cooked properly.
update: i don't have the pictures taken myself but from google image search this is how it almost look like.

it tastes REALLY good (seriously). however, the pot is really sticky and makes cleaning up a bitch

I have a crock-pot pulled-pork bbq recipe somewhere that calls for a can of cola. You don't taste it over the sauce but it has something to do with tenderizing the meat if I'm not mistaken. Odd combinations make some of the best tasting foods. My friend uses a popular Superbowl Meatballs recipe that calls for grape jelly.
