So apparently, protoss isnt the noob race anymore
http://www.iccup.com/gamingprofile/[CPL]TheAntZ.html
vs Protoss - 1-1 | 50%
vs Terran - 4-3 | 57.1% (two of these times were against a friend, whom I had to beg on msn for like 20 minutes before he'd play against me, thats how badly I was starting to hate pvz)
vs Zerg - 8-8

And thats not counting the number of zergs i kept kicking out before i finally gave up and played against one. Each time I want to play, i get tired of pvz so when a zerg enters the game i keep kicking and banning, hoping, SEARCHING for a terran or protoss, please oh god
but no
there is only zerg
so fucking LAME

Why dont you just write "no Z" in your game name, works for me.

The race you have up when you get ready to start the game will have an impact on what races you are likely to face

presumably because people hate mirrors but I don't remember what conclusion I came to when I actually did the experiment

So I guess theres a ridiculous amount of P at higher levels (when choosing Zerg) and a ridiculous amount of Z at low levels (when choosing toss).
Garrr its just frustrating, I stopped laddering because I cant handle anymore pvz

If I switched to T i'd be inclined to switch fully to T, and then I'd have to TvP, and my ass hurts enough from continuous PvZ already, I dont wanna be raped even harder by trying to TvP ;;

That'd be pretty sweet, if you have the time o.o I'd really appreciate it :D
Mostly its just macro woes imo, pvt and pvp are more straightforward, in pvz it seems I cant get my army composition/macro on straight

Man PvZ is easy, just forge FE, make cannons for muta and go for timing attack with 3-4 gate zlots with +1 attack and legs, old school.

Yeah I won 100% PvZ with this (3games)

But can I add a question?
Why is it that on D level only protoss players wait to the last second before selecting their race?
This season I have seen <5 protoss select their race before the end of countdown and I´ve played about 250 games total. Do they do this only against Terrans?
Also there was a few games where the gametitle said TvZ and then they changed to toss... But that was probably just Zim.

I play a lot of TvZ against Mazar, who's on your CPL team. I'd be glad to give you some PvT practice next season.

so this is a not-so-carefully disguised imba blog isn't it? and your sample is so large that it makes sense to extrapolate it to the entire starcraft scene.

I think I speak for most people who can't make their own games, that we absolutely hate getting banned, and we sacrifice any preferences just to get a game started. Since people almost always ban you if they're zerg and you choose zerg, it's preferable to just play off race. Moreover, if the OP is Toss, most people don't feel like playing TvP I think (not as sexy/romantic as ZvP).

At the OP: You probably see significantly fewer Toss at D levels because it's easier to move up to C ranks with Toss. When no one knows what they're really doing, toss gets an advantage because they're just kind of husky. I'm not saying Protoss is easy here, I'm just saying that when there's no micro/good strategy, toss wins. Otherwise it really depends on the map and the player's skillsets.

Now why would I cry imba with a 50% winrate in it? I just know that newbies are more attracted to the race which is easier to learn and play at a low lvl, and in the previous season I had a LOT of pvp. Like 70% pvp. I just wondered If zerg weren't considered the new ez race at low levels because of swarm season etc, thats why D/D+ had so many zergs in it, but obviously there was an alternate explanation :p
