Razer Diamondback 3G on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit using the latest Razer Diamondback 3G drivers for Windows 7.

Whenever I use my Diamondback 3G, every once in a while it will 'turn off' and start back up again. Then every once in a while as well, it blue-screens my Windows with an IRQ overstack error or something like that. It only happens with this mouse. I've tried the other mice I have (Logitech LS1) and it doesn't crash my computer/turn off and on.

I've only had this problem for the past month or so now. When I first got my laptop, it was completely fine (no bluescreen/problems).

Any help?

Do you have the dump files that are generated after the bluescreens?

Well, I don't know where they are in Windows 7 and they're notoriously difficult to find unless you've specified with a regedit where they go. The easiest but longest method is a brute force command line search of your C drive. Open command prompt and as administrator type:

C:\*.dmp /s/a

Then go have a coffee,,, since it will be a while. Regardless, even with them, the information given is limited, and you'll probably end up finding that its simply a driver confliction. Update all the drivers that you can, because even though you're using the most up to date mouse driver, it doesn't mean that others aren't causing you headaches, by interacting strangely.

the system cannot find the path specified.

i too think its a driver problem. i've uninstalled all the razer drivers i could find and going to reboot and reinstall.
