This entire bill seems like a short-term fix. The costs will be enormous (the gov't will soak up everything the companies want) and there is no section for tort reforms (which definitely belongs in here). From just reading your analysis motbob, I agree with a lot of the things in here. Creating competition in the health care industry is a good thing and creating a public option is definitely something I would support. However, forcing companies to provide it for their employees isn't something that should happen (even if it is a modest price). But if I were a senator, I would not vote for this bill. It's a short term fix that will cost a lot of money. It won't actually fix the health care system, and it will appease the American public to a degree they shouldn't be | ||
