How many Email accounts is easy to manage... I used 6 accounts and this is how it goes
1 x work related email 1 x private email for miscellaneous use 1 x default personal email (1) 1 x default personal email (2) 1 x account for job hunting 1 x account for erm... well, any possible vices
Am I being excessive? I don't like my email cluttered but I don't like to log in a few times to check it all everyday. I've tried using a POP client but not all accounts can be POPed and for other reasons I would still need to log in multiple times. My archive in outlook is also getting slower and slower due to the size of these emails. Well how do you guys do it effectively, especially those with a working email you can't change the domain for something else? I think 3 is minimal but very cluttered.

1 x University mail 1 x Private internet shopping/misc mail 1 x Job hunting and certification mail
It's already too much, I don't know why you would ever want more than 3.

1x Private/general use mail 1x University mail I don't use most of the time 1x Spam bucket (email I enter when registering to sites which require confirmation etc.)
|
2 x work mail, two different companies 1 x personal mail (web based) 1 x trash mail (yay hotmail you bloody piece of trash)
That many e-mail addresses you have makes it look like you have a lot of privacy needs.. lots to hide from others...
I'd suggest against clutter some kind of labeling system within a single mail box and some proper rules. Then you can also always find back your email without having to look in 6 places.

1x work email 1x uni email 1x personal email 1x spam email

1x email for things I don't want associated with my name 1x personal email
|
1 x personal email 1 x MSN email 1 x trash email 1 x work email 1 x school email
Why would you use two personal... a miscellaneous annd a "vice" email... you could just as easily have one personal and a private/trash

2x University email (the business school/department students get another email in addition to the general school one) 1x Personal email 1x Online stuff email <- TL email, woo! 1x Online stuff email I don't want associated with my name. Nothing dirty, just don't want possible people to know my real email etc.

1x Personal email 1x School/Work related email (school account is forwarded here)
1x Old email that I can use for registration, etc.
I actively check the first two.
