I used to live on the 13th floor in one of the few buildings in Hawaii that has one. I swear it was haunted. I used to sleep in the room next to the hallway and late at night I would sometimes hear a young boy running and laughing and then hear an man with heavy footsteps chasing after and yelling at him. I asked my parents about it and they said there was no one like that on our floor. So one time when I heard them run past, I got up on a chair to look out the window (I was small and the window was near the ceiling) and I couldn't see anyone.
