I was hoping someone more well-read than I could help me remember a quote I vaguely remember. I have no idea about any details of the source, or even if it's famous, but I'll try to sum it up:

"The only thing worse than not knowing if you'll ever be loved is not knowing if you'll ever love."

It may had "scarier" instead of "worse;" it may have said "find someone to love you/to love;" it may have been "the fear you'll never be loved/love." It may have been in the 1st person instead of the 2nd, and it could very well have been split into two sentences. It also could be nothing like any of the options I listed.

If anyone has any ideas, or even thinks they've heard/read this quotation, let me know. It's been bothering me for a while now. Of course with my luck it'll be from a Britney Spears song or something...

It's probably not it, but is the only one that comes to mind.

No; it's a loved/love comparative quote I am thinking of. In some way it compares not being loved and not loving, with the latter being less desirable. Thanks though.

haha kidding uh
does it go like "better to not be loved then incapable of loving"or something. a more specific word suh as "incapable" would make it easier to googles :O
