Recommendations for ipod dock or computer speakers

onihunter United States515 Posts September 22 2009 01:22 GMT #1 lolsup first blog~ I'm on the lookout for an iPod dock or some computer speakers that are less than $100. I like a strong bass in general, but that doesn't mean I don't care about clarity for higher notes in my music. I know it's hard to find good speakers in this price range, but I'm on a budget and want some opinions on which speakers to buy. I'm going to be using these at home, so portability is not a concern. Right now I'm looking at either the Logitech Z-4's and Creative Inspire T3200's. Any recommendations from TLers would be great. Thanks

Basically in that price range you're not going to get any kind of superb audio quality, and frankly, anything that comes with a pair of speakers and a subwoofer will do you just fine, as far as I know.

I'm sure you can find some on sale

madnessman United States1581 Posts September 22 2009 05:05 GMT #7 i bought the ihome dock. it works with almost all the ipods (i think). it's cheap and simple. the sound quality isn't amazing or anything but it gets the job done.
