I was asked by my manager at the time to drive to a wendys down the hill to get hamburger meat. Ive driven to other stores before for them. Originally, i didn\'t think that the fact that i was on the clock was too important, but one of my managers called my afterwards and told me that i was entitled to compensation for ANY time i miss at work because of the accident, including the rest of my shift i missed because of the accident. She also said that it might be wise to consult a lawyer.
What do you guys think i should do? Should i call a lawyer?
EDIT: I already did contact my insurance company, and a claim has been made. The reason my manager told me to potentially call a lawyer is so possibly press charges against wendys. My manager is also a manager at another company, and says they would never send a minor to pick anything up because they would get sued if there was an accident. She told me, but also made it clear that she was giving me this information anonymously.
