Power Rank

Rank Player Prev High Description
1.
Flash
(T) (stats)
0 1 Don't even try to argue this one.
2.
Jaedong
(Z) (stats)
0 1 Jaedong didn't have the brightest February statistics wise, but that doesn't detract anything from the skill that this man boasts. In particular, his loss against Stork was only a loss because Match Point is a small map - if that game was on a four player map the chances are Jaedong would not have run out of minerals and taken the game. Jaedong is also still in both leagues, and combine this with a strong history and there is no where that Jaedong can be placed but 2nd.
3.
Stork[gm]
(P) (stats)
+6 1 It feels good being able to place Stork high in the rankings once again. By the end of February, Stork had eliminated most of the qualms I had with his play. He was able to stop Jaedong's ZvP win streak and convincingly defeat Sea last night. Nevertheless, as with last month, there is still a massive gap between 2nd and 3rd. To retain this ranking Stork needs to show consistency, as the players who are able to demonstrate some form of consistency are going to place very well on the rankings.
4.
Kal
(P) (stats)
+2 3 Kal had a fairly quiet month, but he was able to demonstrate why he holds a seed for the upcoming MSL. He qualified for the OSL right from the offline qualifiers - not an impressive feat, but a necessary one for placing well on the rankings. Furthermore, I am confident that Kal would have played more games if he had not had the OSL to prepare for and that the Luna New Year stalled WL for a week. Lastly, his game play has been very solid recently. Thus Kal is checking all the boxes and secures #4
5.
Fantasy
(T) (stats)
- 1 Welcome back Fantasy, we missed you at the top. He has had an amazing month which included an eSTRO all-kill, WeMade 3-kill, qualifying for the MSL 2-0 and OSL 2-0. Arguably, based on pure statistics Fantasy had a better month than Kal. However, Fantasy has been playing the role of a 'sweeper' in his team - as in sweeping out all the weak players clearing the way for the rest of SKT to take out the Aces. His wins aren't against the best players in the universe and thus Kal narrowly edges him out this month. If Fantasy keeps up his consistent performance he will continue to rise.
6.
ZerO
(Z) (stats)
- 2 Aside from a few freak losses, you can't criticise Zero's performance in February. Unlike the vast majority of other Zergs in WL - Zero is holding his ground and holding his ground admirably. His kill list in February includes the likes of Jaedong (and an almost reverse all kill of Hwaseung) and he went 2-0 in his MST group. Consistency earns you a strong placing, and Zero has fulfilled that this month.
7.
Light[aLive]
(T) (stats)
- 2 Light is playing very good Starcrat at the moment but unfortunately has had a weaker match list than others. While an all-kill is always impressive, all-killing ACE is the least impressive way to get one. However, couple this with a good closing week in January, a strong performance in the first half of February, qualifying for the OSL Rnd 1 and having a seed for the MSL and you have a performance worth of #7.
8.
HiyA[fOu]
(T) (stats)
+2 6 You can almost shuffle the following 6 players in any order and get some kind of respectable list. The truth is, after the first 7 you lose all sense of consistency and you end up with a bunch of hit and miss players. Hiya gets to the top of this pack by being the most consistent of the bunch. Yes, Hiya lost to Notice in the very first round of the OSL prelims, but his TV games have been good. He's had wins over Fantasy, Jangbi, and TvT beast Skyhigh - and couple this with a good January and that equals Hiya getting 8th this month.
9.
Leta
(T) (stats)
-4 1 Leta has basically run out of gas at this point. After a blazing January, his performance in February steeply dropped off. Leta did, however, get an all-kill against WeMade AND qualify for the OSL. On the other hand, he went 1-2 in the MST in some... well.. interesting games (mostly thanks to Hydra). He also managed to lose to YellOw - go watch it here if you haven't already - but that was probably more to Yellow's credit. Leta has also been dropped out of use in WL - making my life more difficult in trying to assess where his skill currently lies. For Leta to stay on the ranking he needs to get back into WL and qualify for the OSL, otherwise I don't think he'll be around next month.
10.
Kwanro[saM]
(Z) (stats)
-3 7 It's almost painful to keep putting Kwarno on the Power Rank. I am a huge Kwanro fan, but I recognize that Kwanro's game is not as solid as the likes of Bisu and what not. The problem is no one is stepping up to knock him off! Kwanro's result sheet is good - he has a seed for the MSL and he just re-qualified for the OSL making him one of the very few players to be dual leaguing this season.

CBNC

Sea
Sea managed to qualify for the MSL! It's a miracle! Although, typically the real problem with Sea is getting past the Ro16, this is a positive step! February wasn't a kind month to Sea otherwise - he dipped out of the OSL and his performance in WL has dropped off. Sea is better than this, and for him to climb the rank he's going to need to reassert himself in WL and perform in the MSL.

Bisu
Bisu gets back on CBNC because he is still in both leagues and his play has started to pick up. Excellent Bisu! I would love nothing more for your results to catch up with your potential skill. Nevertheless, he just didn't do enough to break into the ranking this month. He needs to continue the momentum he built up at the end of February and if he is able to that he should be able to clinch a low spot in the PR (assuming everyone else continues to be inconsistent)

Baby
Baby makes CBNC for a absolute stellar month. He too all-killed ACE, and has qualified for the OSL and mad the MSL. An impressive result sheet! Perhaps, he is finally living up to the hype of being the youngest progamer. Baby doesn't make the ranking this month for the same reason Guemchi didn't last month - I cannot be sure that Baby's results are not just a fluke, or if they're the real deal. Baby will be able to show me this over March in the MSL - and I really hope he performs because this kid deserves it.

I haven't even read it yet, but great job!

Edit: your motivation for Flash seems a bit superfluous.

Edit: typos: Zero = Calm, Starcrat.

Its a self reference to a old PR, have a look at some of the old ones and youll understand.

Pretty good PR overall, you can't really rank objectively in the off SL months due to the lack of games. But the top 5 is pretty solid, although I would put Fantasy above Kal for looking stronger than ever mechanics wise, which means he is going to reach a finals, so there is no haste about his PR position.I wouldnt be surprised if he wins a league.

Can't argue with this PR. I like Plexa PRs, they reflect the way I would do things, consistency is key. I'm excited for SLs to start gearing up towards the end of this month with group stages. Go Flash Stork Jaedong.. I want epic finals!

Just some mistakes I noticed.

Nice PR otherwise, nothing I disagree with!

EDIT: My predictions for this PR were 1/10 CORRECT!

Wow, I totally neglected Kal this month. Good job catching all the less notable players that's not always in the spotlight.

There is nothing to argue about top3.

The rest of ranking is harder to judge. However, I am surprised how high is Light. He all-killed Ace but these days seems like anyone can do it. Also, he seems particularly weak against Protoss. Not sure if he deserves relatively high spot on the rank.

The rest is hard to judge as I didn't follow the scene too closely this month and haven't seen that many games.

And amusingly, despite their dominance in Proleague, KT hasn't had a second player on the PR in six months. The players have just taken turns to own/suck.

rofl at the old savior - and now flash reference :D
I thought for a second that Djetterstyle had returned to write PR's.
Best ranking so far plexa. Gj!
Even though I hate fantasy / bisu with a passion ya can't ignore their results.
@ Baby, everyone knowss he is capable of taking down really good players. But he has a history of not keeping up. (GomTV where he beat Jangbi before jangbi super slumped.
As a steady KT fan I would love to hear what your thoughts on Stats is. To me his PvT is the KT version of GosI[flying] PvZ. He has also shown very good PvP. And his PvZ isnt that bad either.
please tell me what you think of stats awesome waffle god?

i would have taken out (T)Leta, he did nothing this month to earn his place and replaced with (T)BaBy,

Plus (P)Stats for CNBC. Also i disagree that KT players except (T)Flash suck coz (T)Flash didnt play few matches only because the rest of the team won by themselfs...
Also (P)Violet didnt play this much for KT and for the same reason: (P)Stats, (T)fOrGG and (Z)HoeJJa did well...
I have the ultimate answer, i seek the ultimate question

KT is doing incredibly well, but no single player is carrying the load as much as any player on this PR, when you factor in Individual leagues. It also helps that Flash won seven of their last eight games.
Remember Violet.
