Sorry I didn't mean here. Feedback is feedback. But in actual threads you can see people going "X is a PBU just ignore him." Like, if he is a PBU really, they should be telling a mod to ban him. Except PBUs also get new chances if you ever see "Try harder on your next account." Which may be the case sometimes. You should ignore someone because they're stupid, which is probably why they became a PBU, not because of that accusation I think. Or if they're not a PBU then it derails a thread to call them one falsely.

PBUs don't get new chances. It's sarcasm from the mods because certain PBUs don't put a lot of work into hiding the fact that they are exactly that.
The problem with PBUs is that if you actually put work into hiding it, it's very difficult for mods to find out. The only thing left to give an indication is how they're posting (First post in the politics thread bashing left/right winged people is an obvious giveaway). For instance I am pretty certain that someone regularly in the Politics thread right now is a PBU, given by how aggressive his first few posts are (which is rare with actual new users). It isn't, however, proof, so they can't really ban him over it.

I think the mechanism is self-correcting. After a few easy spots of PBUs, the crowd got a little excited. After one or two more when they look foolish and cliquish, it'll die down.
