i also wonder if some of these ads (not specifically cartoon porn...) but if its malware that the user has picked up from somewhere else i run a malware scan before i post the ad on TL, maybe others should as well JUST incase, cause cartoon porn...is pure WTF

Im not complaining, but never block those girls in their panties selling t-shirt adds. They're just so damn attractive. But i do wonder why somethimes over 3g on iphone safari tl insists im addblocking

I just got a very annoying ad that creates a pop-up overlay in the center of the screen that scrolls with your screen (straight over the topics/replies) and you HAVE to click a close button in the right top to get rid of it. As soon as you hover over the ad it instantly (and repeatedly) creates the pop-up.

Did anyone ever figure out how to block the ads like SNORGTEES / MEH shirts with revealing clothes on? I did go to google ad choices as recommended and the only things I have checked are:

The self-policing thing is fine, and I don't have a problem going to google ad choices every time I may clear my cookies if that actually worked.
The ads still show up for me after doing it though. For now I just straight up blocked all google ads at work (I can't figure out how to only block those specific images using the IE Content Manager functionality), but I'd rather have them display reasonable stuff, just not things I'd feel uncomfortable having other people see on my screen.
e: I didn't bother grabbing the ad tag since this was already discussed earlier in the thread and it seemed that staff were telling users to self-police; I'm merely asking how I can do that  .

Just popped up on mine. The Romney one is MAD_US. It's a mouseover so it's almost assured you'll hit it if you use tabs and once you mouse over it covers up about 1/3 of my vertical space on the screen with the popup while playing some speech from Romney.

Only the right sidebar has NSFW ads. A quick but lazy nuke for this is to get adblock plus, get rid of easylist in the options (so most ads still show, including the top SFW banner ads), and right click the right sidebar ad and click "block element".
No more right sidebar ad = no more NSFW ads.

I was browsing TL at work ( im a bad boy i know) And some of your adds got blocked from our virus protection aswell as a warning message from google saying its malware. I cant tell you wich ads it was since it was blocked, but it might be something you wanna look into if TL is used to spread malware

Pretty sure all the ads are safe, your antivirus probably flagged a fomos image or something, especially if you got a Google warning.

It has a built in addblocker for protection sorta.
I dont get TL adds at work and I dont have any type of Addblock in my IE.
Watching streams i get adds though, so im sure its just a setting on your works firewall

I got an ad for Bryer's Ice Cream in the top banner that extended over the top post and the different page links. It had an x to close it, but it didn't work. This ad needs to die. Anyone else getting this?
