Our ad policy does not permit auto playing audio or auto expanding ads. To report an ad, follow these steps: 1. Right click the ad (or just below if you can't right click it) and choose "Inspect" (img) 2. In the dev tools window, scroll up so that as much of the code before the highlighted line is visible (img). Expand any collapsed lines if necessary. 3. as I say that, the page reloads without a layout breaking ad. I'll start keeping a record. disregard. this seems to have stopped.

Also, sometimes the ads begin playing sounds even when I am in a different tab or doing something on the computer. It just plays in the background. Really sad to see this happen to TL after how many years I've been here.

Firefox does support it, that was only for 2 days in the summer due to Adobe not updating Flash when there were known problems with it. I tried removing the plug-in, and things did improve, but unfortunately this made some online content unavailable so I had to re-enable it. I don't think forcing people to turn off Adobe at the expense of others sites' content is the answer for this site's ads that overwhelm it and causes scripts to crash, never to be restored.

![]() I didn't feel like watching the whole shit just to find out what the fuck started playing in the background with no input on my part but it was on Liquipedia and it was some dude talking about MOBA games. I mean, FFS, is TL's popularity really increasing still? Are there more people on TL now than there were 3 years, 4 years ago? Why does TL need to get such invasive ads? Are they feeding their players and staff from ad revenue or something?

In the middle of a ladder game, there's suddenly *incredibly* loud music(I think it was music) blaring. Chrome helpfully tells me it's the liquipedia tab. There's a video ad playing: http://i.imgur.com/q71XTBD.png, but I can't tell if that's the cause because the entire tab is acting as if it's bottlenecking. Only reacts to actions ~20 seconds after. Not sure if this is even the right thread, since it's liquipedia. I pay for TL+ and would rather not adblock liquipedia, but oh my. My ears are still ringing.

Ok, I encountered it again while opening multiple tabs so I'm not quite sure what triggered it. It may be this ad, though. https://adclick.g.doubleclick.net/aclk?sa=L&ai=CbqpyyynjVsz_M4muhASdx6PIDvrPhY0I6uTGo4kBwI23ARABIABgyf7EjfSk0BmCARdjYS1wdWItMTI3NzYxODkxNDI4ODU1OcgBCagDAaoEjgFP0GnLAra4pRuFh0ebrv3o8x0SswpqywKUuRuHJifoXWFXvITeQq5LhVbKgik3hQ61UFFO8ITiQEQjeMwOZfJiF_DaQLhUj887G0hd-M5JZFjvdt7Hk-v4HkaXVRurk1n4Gab644-I89B2zquNfVNKaxIR7QYPDcO-xevLX_VoMUX0QeGtlZDwdfIIF8QpgAbypZmDtuC4pRygBiHYBwA&num=1&sig=AOD64_1izlD7dJJtS9d0NBfVsOP-heTjpg&client=ca-pub-1277618914288559&adurl=http://pr.ybp.yahoo.com/cj/cd/StSyWOW403JjKBNMmFEl5NpAObuHFek-u7N311yIRtA_tzxmwuJ86jlBiWxK4JFIHUX63EV-Q_nJDavLOLKP42vTo36AUuAmE_OXWaXDqOqfWFrEEQWZgWLxm9mUQXUW/rurl/http://altfarm.mediaplex.com/ad/ck/22221-213900-57512-46?mpt=6043629572999274212&mpcr=76786764&mpcrset=root

I have adblock at home, and I doubt that will ever change, but on my school computers, it's a tad tedious to download adblock every single time I log in, so I try not to. However, nowadays, as sad as it is, the only thing that pushes me to download adblock every time I log in is the ads on teamliquid. The ads here are honestly by far the worst of any place I visit on a regular basis, they slow down my browser immensely, start playing audio right away, completely unacceptable imo. I'm shocked its something you guys haven taken more seriously and looked at more closely, the ads sometimes freeze up my browser requiring a restart of the browser, which never happens to me on any other site. Anyway, if you guys use ads as specified "acceptable ads" in ad block, I'd gladly white-list TL, but in 50% of page loads I get moving pictures in ads, which I simply cannot and will not support.
