Our ad policy does not permit auto playing audio or auto expanding ads. To report an ad, follow these steps: 1. Right click the ad (or just below if you can't right click it) and choose "Inspect" ( img) 2. In the dev tools window, scroll up so that as much of the code before the highlighted line is visible ( img). Expand any collapsed lines if necessary. 3. Link a screenshot of the ad, a description of the problem and a screenshot of the dev tools window in this thread. |

Its not like they are nude?
Is a picture of a woman's face smiling really that offensive?
I mean you could question the legitimacy of these 'dating' sites, but really don't see how the adds themselves are an issue.

Maybe he's talking about that tshirt ad with the bent-over chick (ironically you can't even see what's on the t-shirt). That isn't exactly work safe by any measure, I'd think.

I've been getting this ad on liquipedia, not sure if it enters the bad ads category, sadly I don't think there is/didn't find the ad tag there so I couldn't copy it
The ad

The small thumbs move from left to right in a flashy manner which makes it pretty annoying too
No idea where to find the image url so I m just pasting what/where I think it could be

Teamliquid.net is one of the few website I whitelist on my adblock. That might change if "Asianbeauties.com" (as I saw today) and other scam websites advertise here. I can't imagine you are spoiled for choice with ads or that you should change anything based on one lone complaint. But please consider this feedback as part of the aggregate when next you review your ad policy.

just had chrome redirect me to this page when I tried to access www.teamliquid.net, couldn't get ad number or anything as i never got through to the page. + Show Spoiler +
I just refreshed and got to the page fine, so I assume it was something to do with an ad on the homepage. Hopefully this is the right place to report this ^.^
edit: image isn't working for whatever reason, but it's http://imgur.com/StTRW3r

On December 30 2012 00:35 TSBspartacus wrote:![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/Sfz7U.png) I had this ad pop up while I was on a different tab, and the guy started speaking which freaked me out a bit. I then tabbed back and he was silent, just standing there blinking occasionally. Edit: I assume it must have been because I hovered over the rollover to view, but I was on a different tab when it all started up.
To add to this: If I have a window over TL and I mouse over the ad for less then a second and go back to my window even if my mouse isn't on the advert position it will continue to "roll over" and pops up.
The only reason it should pop up is if the window is active and my mouse is over it which isn't the case.

There isn't really anything we can do about that, if you tab out of your browser or switch tabs while you are hovering over an ad (those ads take three seconds to pop I believe), the popup ad won't know about your future mouse movements. It would constitute a security risk if a page could read your mouse when you aren't actively using it.

I got 3 wierd ones today. Dont know about the third one if it is legit or not, but the other ones seems really shady.
1. Is somekind of fake spam message that says i have a new notification.
2. Wants me to buy asian girls'
3. Is some #mindgames ?

Those aren't really unacceptable, just regular dating ads.

Its unacceptable to me, which is why I started adblocking TL. Doesn't have to be nude in order to be hugely inappropriate in a work environment...

This ad was blinking quite a bit, which was quite annoying and it is obviously misleading. The ad tag is TF_INT. I don't know if it is helpful, but this is the HTML code for the object: + Show Spoiler +<object data="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/imgad?id=CICAgIDQ6OrthAEQ2AUYWjIInibLm4MmXz8" id="google_flash_embed" wmode="opaque" flashvars="clickTAG=http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk%3Fsa%3DL%26ai%3DCGEVFQOc9UdetL8-m8AOT6oC4C5a69sQD7s-pz07AjbcBEAEgqbCyHVDx7K-d_P____8BYJHEhIXgF6ABrsC4_QPIAQSoAwGqBGpP0KwiPfy3ctJZUWmOtOoZThPr8Q2is_Dj0UrWmDtzVHGjGpoL6AvsNZSi8AFv_l5KF5Nbd-U_NiIROPM8i37weIxhSWV8OwD13MbAn7ZXFAfrrFiWW9SagRgEp8ygWIt3quTAe55aXi6RiAYBoAYEgAe6v8cC%26num%3D1%26cid%3D5GjZ6-T0brx9kWh2GP10ZVTd%26sig%3DAOD64_1PdW34AbF_lWOOdziXmwpl8EOCmg%26client%3Dca-pub-7048914824812959%26adurl%3Dhttp://www.priceside.net/land.pl%253Fconf%253D56EEE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="never" height="90" width="728"></object>

I mean if Rich is saying that ad is okay (overall view of some ads) then I think most will just use adblock after that without telling TL that they did. Its lose-lose situation for both.

Very annoying ad, your basic blinking "YOU HAVE WON!":
Besides the obvious obnoxiousness of the ad itself, it is accompanied by a loud fanfare of trumpets.
Ad tag: TF_INT

Yep, that's the viewpoint I took. I don't know about you guys, but I kept getting "Snorgtees" ads with really sexually suggestive pictures even if they weren't actually nude. That was the last straw for me and I started ad-blocking TL at work. I posted in here and tried to do it the legit way without adblocking it, including going into my google ad preferences and removing everything it had picked up for me, but it didn't seem to help at all (I still got the same ads). I don't have a problem with ads "I don't like" in the sense that it could be irrelevant or advertise something I think is stupid, but I do have a problem with ads that basically make it so that if the ad is there I can't view the page.

I'm getting a lenovo pop up, I'll screen shot it next time I can, but it keeps popping out of my screen. I have nothing really against it if it were to just stay on the side bar or something, but this is popping up at me and preventing me from actually viewing TL. I think another poster posted something similar to what I'm going through above.
EDIT: It isn't happening every time apparently. I'm not getting in anymore as of right now.

I've gotten it every day since Day 1 of MLG Winter. It is driving me nuts. I've never used an adblocker before but I'm considering it now >_<
Edit: I'll try to grab the URL next time I get it
