Google, Facebook, and the like make money off advertising. Making as much of your private information as they can public directly benefits them. If you haven't read up on their stances on privacy, or the lawsuits surrounding them, it's becoming a huge issue. I understand some people don't care if all of their information in life is in the public domain, but others do.
And yes I could allow googleapis to run only on TL, but that's hardly any better than letting them run scripts from every site.
