Any other form of activety that lasts for 2-3 hours(sports, cinema, theater, whatever) costs more :p Tickets booked! :D Since the day i became a university student. I just remember a late night ESL event in stockholm that was free but still almost no one attended. Putting a price on the event, especially when a big portion of the audience of esport comes from university students (male 18+) make it really hard to understand. I'm just finding it a little bit strange that they dont go with the korean model, try to search more revenue from the sponsors while keeping it free for spectators. While i probably will buy a ticket and attend the event, i dont see how i can bring a lot of my friends who just watches huskystarcraft and random day9 dailys.

Hopefully other big tournaments start using them too. Great initiative by Dreamhack. Now get rid of the coin :D
