RoL had it, then he faked being jack and someone randomly picked out ace as mafia (ace was gf) and ace ragequit. Caller immediately reran game and I got VI. I faked insane dt and got myself lynched lol.

Doesn't the fact that the VI ends the game make it too strong. It seems it is listed more for the uncertainty it brings I agree something should be done, but mafia can easily fake Town Idiot I would think as cover, which forces the town into an instant situation where if they mess up this one lynch the entire game is over.
I haven't played enough to know if this is too far fetched but the possibility of a role that instantly ends the game if lynched seems like a huge boon for the mafia. It just seems like the threat of the role is stronger than the role itself. If the role was 100% going to be in the game then I think it might make sense but not knowing if it is in the game means you have to play as if there is one and can never be sure if it exists.
Thoughts?

Because I never got the impression enough people would be interested. And why does it matter how many bombs the hatters have? The game is basically guaranteed to only last 1-2 nights. Think about the chain reactions.

Thoughts? If it doesn't end the game, there is no point in the role. It just kinda sucks to have the role without ending the game because you aren't really involved in the game otherwise.

I agree, but as was stated it is almost never used, so it is more a role that its possibility affects the game (much like regardless of if a miller exists or not, if he can exist mafia can use it as a defense) It just seems to make the threat so much stronger since now town not only must weigh that lynching wrong will waste a lynch but that it also will end the game.
Maybe I am not explaining it right, but I guess what I mean is that if the traitor is so strong then it should probably be revealed at the start of the game if there is one or not. otherwise every lynch will need to be treated more like LYLO at least a little bit (maybe this is good as was mentioned earlier since it will increase analysis) though I guess mafia might be more inclined to night kill him just so town doesn't lynch him and lost the whole game.

Wait so what if VI gets NK'd?
|
"one day cycle" in voting section do you mean 48 hour day + 24 hour night or solely the day period?
|
Standard 48-hr day, 24 hr. night. Sorry if that was confusing.
Also, the cycles will end at 11 PM EDT, because that fits into my schedule the best. Changing OP to reflect that.

He/she doesn't win. They only win if they get LYNCHED, so NKs, vigi hits, mad hatters, and modkills all don't count as them winning.
