TIE-BREAKER RULES If match record is equal, then: 1. Player with better map difference will be placed higher 2. Player with higher number of match wins against tied opponents will be placed higher 3. Player with better map difference against tied opponents will be placed higher 4. Tie-breaker round robin bo1
All matches during the RO8 Round Robin are bo3. All vetoes and map picks need to be made before the matches. The player with the higher ladder stage ranking can decide if they want to veto first or second. The order for vetoes is ABAB ABC for BO3 and AB ABABC for BO5.
Example of vetoes for the BO3 match:
player A vetoes a map player B vetoes a map player A vetoes a map player B vetoes a map player A picks the first map player B picks the second map the remaining map will be played in the decider match Once all vetoes and mappicks are done you can start the matches.
I think if Dandy started CC with his 400, at the exact time Dewalt started his nexus with 400. Then made his factory; he would have entered the midgame in a slightly more then even position.
That said, I could see the late dewalt gas and the zealots, and he couldn't, until later, spectator perspective ofc.
Dewalt (who was way ahead already)dropped 2 reavers on a mine and then picked up the reavers - in cross continental ping, that means he felt there was a mine and was prepared to autolift.
Eonzerg opens overpool 3 hat-3base- gas, after maings 2 lings and 2 drones Boa opens gateway first at natural and zealot pressure.
Eonzerg wins the zergling -zealot earlygame war and gets lings into the main and they get kills. Eonzerg going for 5 hat muta into 6 hat hydra - non-objective note, I am very happy with his choice to play this style.
Boa prowles the map with a dt, templar out- eonzerg up in supply 83 to 75.
Boa isn't dead imo but he is far behind. muta and scourge catch sairs oooffph ... ummm, if eonzerg go lurker and takes 2 bases, I will call it now.
If eonzerg goes all hydra, then boa could get lucky. Eonzerg takes a forth. Many lurkers on the map.
Eonzerg is playing to keep his advtange forever. Boa moving out with sair,obs, zealont,goon,templar into middle-lurker-hydra-overlord patch. Boa loses his forces while getting his third denied.
It is impossible for Eonzerg to lose from here, Boa will run out of main minerals in like 4 minutes.
Eonzerg is playing to hold the map like Soma, Just brutally taking bases. I love this shit.
Boa is doing the the hard work of fighting for more bases, he does storm nicely when he gets a shot. Eonzerg decided to not attack for nearly 10 minutes of this game.
He moves in with hydra/lurker ling at Boa's natural, swarm it out, the army arrives to eat spines from swarmed lurkers. He then loses his 4th.
Boa opens forge expand - natural block with probe Eonzerg Hats at mineral only (1 o'clock) overpool- 2 lings 3 hat-3base-gas same build as last game from Eonzerg.
Nevermind, I'm wrong. Eonzerg chooses lingspeed instead of lair and then hydra den after that.
12 lings charge into Boa's natural, surround the cannon, kill the cannon, another one morphes, 3 lings in Boa's main as hydra production starts. Cannon up, 7-8 hydras with speed without range ( I think) attack 1 cannon 3 zealots,
3 cannons-2 cannons,1 cannon .... protoss holds, 5 zerg units, gateway will fall but cannon hold
Eonzerg supply 40 to Boa's 31.
8 Cannons at Boa's natural, as Eonzerg continues 3hat-hydra-forever - staying on 18 drones. 24 hydras (Could be 30 not sure) attack and run over the 8 cannons 15 seconds before storm finishes.
