Heard later arcs just abandon the supporting cast completely even though that was the main strength of the early arcs. I'm having the same issue with Hero Academia right now. All the women basically get a bit of character progress then abandoned for some new waifu. Really frustrating. We've gotten pretty good women in shounen series over the years but Academia is leaving me annoyed. It's the shounen manga curse. The cast always expands beyond the author's capacity to properly develop them, and this usually happens at a predictable point (between the 3rd and 5th major arc).

Mob Psycho 100: Somehow better than the first season. Loved every bit of it. 9/10 Cells at Work: I had a good time. Going to show it to my high school biology teacher. 6/10 Kaguya-sama: Love is War: I was honestly bored throughout the show. Didn't laugh much. 4/10, maybe a 5/10? There were some good moments Kakegurui: Enjoyable to me, but I've always been a gambler and seeing the intensity of the games was cool. 6/10 I Want to Eat Your Pancreas: Emotional movie done really well, in my opinion. Given that I've rated some other anime I've seen that deal with emotional issues very low, I was surprised how much I liked it. 8/10 Liz and the Blue Bird: I didn't expect to be too interested in the Eupho side characters, but was pleasantly surprised with this. 6/10 Penguin Highway: I thought this movie was a little weird, but very good. 7/10 Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms: I wasn't expecting the fantasy setting to appeal to me, but I ended up being fascinated by the world. 7/10 Night is Short, Walk on Girl: I forgot how much I liked The Tatami Galaxy's art style. The story itself was great as well, but I'm biased to anything Yuasa. 8/10 Zombieland Saga: Thoroughly entertaining and I look forward to hopefully getting a second season. The VA for Tatsumi absolutely killed it. Lily best girl. 7/10

I assume it would be a year or two for Stone Ocean and maybe 3-4 years for Steel Ball Run They normally announce it after they finished the previous season. Most likely ~2 years until new part.

Seeing the pure, unbridled determination of the main characters to achieve what they want out of life really resonated with me and pulled me out of the pits of depression and made me finally start trying to improve my life. Since then, I've lost 45 pounds/20kg (but in somewhat unhealthy ways by intermittent fasting) and have stopped isolating myself from pretty much everyone. Like the lead characters, I want to do something amazing with my life, not waste it alone in my apartment, not talking to anyone. Gigguk's year-end review for 2018 says it a lot better, I believe: Thanks! I've put it onto my ptw list rather recently. Sounds like it will stay there for bad times.

These last two episodes make it really difficult to not start reading the manga.

The foreshadowing all the way back from the first season etc has been incredible as the story has progressed in the anime. These last two episodes make it really difficult to not start reading the manga. I have huge regrets from being impatient and spoiling myself with much of the post-basement plot from friends and the wiki. I wish I could wipe my memory and experience the basement reveal again but with a blank mind.

Can someone tell me what episodes to avoid from AoT season 1 since I heard there are lots of fillers and I'd rather save time and watch canon only? Yes right. Start with episode 1 and watch every single one except the .5 one. I dont know who you heard it from but IIRC there isnt a single filler episode in attack on titan

As someone who watched season one very long time ago, just like everyone else, I highly suggest you to watch every episode. I wish I'd be in a position to start fresh and remember all the little details from the first season before I started to watch the newest one. It's been incredible story telling and you'll appreciate it more, especially now that you can basically marathon all three seasons and remember things better. Its filler in the sense that S1 is full of things like 5-6 minute recaps every episode, and scenes getting dragged out to be pointlessly long. So other than skipping ahead in episodes to get past that stuff, they aren't really skippable What Sent said. When the combined time of recap, intro, outro and preview makes half the episode, you know something is wrong.

Probably helps that his "anime background" is really similar to mine (he's of a similar age, went into anime with the same shows, etc), but his shit is quality. He's funny but he still has nice serious videos too. His taste in waifus is garbage though.
