Sc2 is a game of history repeating itself
Way too much terran winning champion in this year tbh.
Check which Terrans. INnoVation won GSL, SSL, and GSL vs the World. Plus VSL. He's won twice as many tournaments this year as all the rest of the Terrans combined.

It's not a balance issue.
Like Neeb winning 3 WCS events, not a balance issue

Michael Jordan will stay goat forever so I don't see your argument

lol but Michael Jordan didn't have an early retire like Mvp

Ryung really letting the team down.
Incredibly clutch run, wonder if a similar run happened before
Polt in 2015 WCS Season 1, which I think was just as great, since his opponents were all very close to his level and he was quite far behind in multiple series and games all the way to the championship.
3-2 ForGG, TvT expert; 3-2 Bunny, in a series in which Polt was 1-2 down and got quite behind in game 4; 4-3 Hydra, when he was 3-1 down, in a great TvZ series.
Admittedly he was not as close to INnoVation to elimination during the ro16 and ro32 phase, but he was certainly much closer to just getting blown out 3-1 and 4-1 in the semifinals and finals, and he did great comebacks in both series.
3 GSL Code S title like MVP and Nestea (and there was much more GSL every year at that time). Plus a Starleague. He's now the only four times Starleague champion in SC 2.
Also won IEM Korea, perhaps the most difficult IEM ever. In GSL vs the world he has beaten almost all the best players of the year.
I've always been an Inno fan but never considered him absolut GOAT before. But today you just can't argue much against the fact he's the greatest ever. I won't talk about Taeja, there is no discussion never won a single Korean or WCS America title. MVP is not too far but Inno accomplishments are now slightly better.
Only Life could match for me because he's won a lot of prestigious titles in Korea, is a world champion and has beaten Inno many times. He also won in a more difficult era than MVP and Nestea. But for me Inno surpasses life because of his incredible performances in Team League.

And also This.
INnoVation is so fucking damn impressive he just keeps winning and winning, the clutchest player ever in finals ! Also we forgot A LOT to mention his impressive team league achievement when talking about GOAT. I don't think Mvp and Life can compare to him in that regard.

anything below top level is imbalanced. a game can only be meticulously balanced at 1 level of play. its been like that in the entire history of racially diverse RTS games. learn to love it.

the game is "balanced enough" below top level.
Multiplayer (RTS) games can not and will never be balanced, and that's what makes games unique, fun and attractive. Tis the beauty of such games even in low levels the game is not balanced because people are always learning from each other and from pros and adapting.

I find Supreme Commander ( with Forger Alliance) quite well balanced.
