This doesn't even make sense - tvp is basically fine, he left for greener pastures and not for silly reasons.

You need to buy quite a few riot points. Stop saying it's cheaper, I've spent more on LoL than on SC2 (a lot of people bought a 30$ Udyr skin when it got out.. I didn't but I see this skin everywhere. LoL prints money, SC2 doesn't.) LoL is easier to learn, mechanics and overall strategies are simpler and require 1/10 of the apm you need in SC2. It's a shame people are switching games like they switch their clothing just because of money

I have also noticed you complain about haters' BM. I've heard LoL's BM is more than SC2's. How are you going to deal with that? Do you rely on faster banning from Riot? How do you propose to make money in dota2? I have neither seen nor played Dota. What I was asking was which game he considers more fun - Dota2 or LoL? But I guess he wants to be paid instead of the fun aspect. Might be hard to believe, but some people ACTUALLY ENJOY playing lol (some might enjoy playing it more than Sc2 or DotA2, such as myself currently). As lots have posts in this thread have stated he has been playing LoL for months. Personally I never really got in to HOTS, first year or two of WOL was my primetime, but once WCS came out over GSL I was already finding LCS much more interesting.

I imagine that LoL feels the same in a different way. Sure it is not mechanically demanding (which is what I love and am looking for), but it sure must have a fuckton of strategic/teamplay depth which is probably very rewarding to him and other SC2 players who switched. There has to be this feeling that no matter how good you get, there is always still more which you can work on (whether mechanically or strategically). The ceiling needs to feel limitless! I imagine LoL does as well as Bw, just in a different way. Roll on Beasty! I don't know if I'll tune in as I did before since I personally don't hold much interest in LoL, but I'll sure tune in every once in awhile just to see your kickass character.

Not community wise, but overall. All my friends quit playing(semi-pros, up and coming guys and regular school frends) Whenever I go to my gaming cafe its me playing sc2 and rest dominated by Mobas(LoL mostly) The FB group for my city SC2 is less than dead(hardly any posts per months while LoL and Dota2 get 50+ a day) Its really hard to stay motivated when you log into a game where it automatically feels lonely and pointless to play(with korean dominating every corner) best of luck to you qt, i know your feels! come back whenever!

That makes one top player retiring in a history of SC2.

Edit: silly me, Stephano retired. That makes one top player retiring in a history of SC2. Excuse me for not expressing myself well enough. I should have said top tier player. Well, it is certainly subjective who to consider as a top (tier) player. But IMHO everyone playing on a professional level can be considered one. And the less competition and diversity there is in any sports, the worse. I would compare it to football, when lower 1st league and 2nd league teams would dissolve, it would be a blow, even if they're not, and probably never will be, serious contenders for titles. Let me just list all the retirements currently featured on the TL main page: Beastyqt Light Flying s2

LoL is easier to learn, mechanics and overall strategies are simpler and require 1/10 of the apm you need in SC2. It's a shame people are switching games like they switch their clothing just because of money That is incorrect on all counts. It is not easier to learn - there is a much greater quantity of data a competent player must know. Strategies ain't simpler either due to the greater number of combinations of different game elements you need to be aware of. It's just a numbers game. You're probably right (albeit exaggerating) when it comes to APM, however SC2 itself isn't really big on mechanics. It could have been, and arguably should have been, but the way it was designed it ended up on the low end of difficulty curve compared to pretty much any classic RTS title. It really doesn't make sense to use that card when making comparisons with games of a different genre when the game doesn't even stand out in its own genre in that particular category - if that was the key feature, people would have been playing different RTS games to begin with. Finally, it's far from easy getting to a point where you can reliably earn money from LoL. You may be aware that there's a lot more people competing to earn that money, whether by playing professionally or streaming. It will probably take Beasty a lot of time to break to the point where he's making as much money as he was making by winning all those weekly cups in SC2.
