It's an interesting game. If you are fan of WH40K, get it. Single player is very good and the cooperative mod is great, really intense experience. Do not get it if you are interested only in regular multiplayer though...while fun, it's most times laggy as hell with small playerbase.

Basically, get this game for about 8 hours of orcshmashing in singleplayer, and a few more hours of orcshmashing in the horde mode if you have friends who also have this game. Don't get it to play with random people, and don't get it to play competetive multiplayer. The matchmaking system in this game must be the worst one i have ever seen. Whoever thought of this is absolutely retarded. Random lags, no servers, no reasonable lobby, no choosing who you want to play with except for maybe bringing a few friends. I think you also couldn't even choose which team you are on. Every 5 minutes the game stops for half a minute because the host is migrating, basically, the whole infrastructure is absurdly horrible. Still get this game for the singleplayer and the horde mode with friends, it is definitively worth the 5€.

Very good deal in my opinion. You get two games and can even play the DayZ Mod wich is a blast too. edit- forgot to mention that the same package is on sale on Steam for the next 24 hours for 50% off asking 12.49€ for it.

Pretty disappointing this year especially since there are tons of sites nowadays that offer cheaper stuff. Also some games get offered like 3 times during the sale. Batman, Borderlands, Arma all of these were 2x on sale either daily or flash. And im pretty sure they get on sale again if there is a comunity voting for these.

And if you add the 30% voucher you can get it for 10.50€. Green Man Gaming also has Mass Effect 3 for 9.19€. With the 30% voucher and it goes to 6.44€. Keep in mind you require Origin though.

It's an even worse offender than the Call of Duty series in my opinion. You truly only need to ever play one of them No way man. The AC games are amazing (except for 1) and is one of the greatest franchises in history. The first one was a chore to play through as it got pretty repetitive, but is needed for the story. I've enjoyed every AC game immensely from AC 2 and it has one of the greatest video game stories ever. The one franchise that I think is the most overrated is half life. I played half life 2 and that was a lonely boring ass world with almost no story at all. It was very disappointing to play after all the hype and to this day I cannot understand why it gets so much praise especially for story since its story is paper thing, at least when playing the game. Maybe there's stuff outside the game to elaborate on the story, but playing it there was as much story as borderlands 1 almost.

I can understand it being disappointing for long time steam users, but I feel like it got more to do with games. Borderlands 2, Call of Duty: black Ops 2, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, Dishonored, and FarCry 3 are the only big releases since summer. Yeah the game selection is weaker but the prices on Steam itself haven't been good compared to other sales. I haven't gotten anything from Steam itself so far because I could find stuff for a better price on other sites.

Also, Mark of the Ninja up for vote to be 50% off as community choice if it wins AC2 is a must buy. It is my favorite AC game in the series. Don't worry if you didn't play the first one because they always do a summary of the events as the intro for every AC game. I would say play AC1 if you have time, but be warn that it is repetitive and impatient people will get turned off quickly. I would recommend playing Brotherhood too since it is an improvement over AC2. Revelations is optional, but the game has some animations problems, combat feels clunkier, and more bugs/glitches compared to other AC games. Also, Sleeping Dogs is at a good price and I'm picking that up since I have heard some good things about that game.

For the story you might want to play AC1 as well. It's probably supercheap anyway. The assassin tombs or whatever they were called are just not there anymore in brotherhood, revelations. Some of them were pretty hard - compared to the rest of the franchise.

Yeah, it's mostly games that have already been on sale many different times this year :\ Still, I went ahead and picked up Mark and the Ninja and that has made up for it, great game.
