Q: AM I MASTER YET?
A: Nope.
First blog entry, took me like 10 minutes to figure out how to make a blog, lol, anyway.
I am in Taiwan from the 15th of Dec to the 9th of Jan for winter break. Already been here for a week and half. Since I have a bunch of time and not a lot of options and dont know anyone other than my family, I've decided to get somewhat productive with the help of a blog.
Monday to Friday:
Wake up - 12 -- Watch bball / sc2 streams / proleague
1:50 - 2:40 -- Stupid driving school to get my Taiwanese license
3:00 - 4:00 -- Gym for an hour
Then back up to this boring mountain to play some SC2! My goal is to get masters in Korea before I go back and lag makes TW/KR unplayable again. I started from middiamond after letting my friend borrow my account, and I think I went 15-3. This blog is basically made for me to post every 2 days or so as a way to keep motivated. I think I have the skill to get to masters already, but I still need to play a bunch of games before the ladder will promote me. Most people tend to be more focused when they record their progress, and since I am usually very lazy and barely even take notes in class, I'm doing this to try something new.
Heres today' blog:
Right now, I'm somewhere in high diamond with bonus pool added, but ladder will reset on Jan 1st. First goal for me is to use up my 250 bonus pool before then.
I went 0-3 today against mid-low masters and now I'm sitting at 15-6. Kinda disheartening, but the TW->KR server lag of like .3 seconds plus the stupid timing allins koreans do just caught me offguard. I think I will just play a lot safer and get tanks out faster because Koreans dont take third bases at this level period. Also, always get detection in the midgame because koreans arent afraid to burrow roach all-in 20 minutes in the game.
Today is abs day, going to get about 5km of treadmill in and do my usual routine of 3x sets of 35 crunches -> 60 seconds plank -> 30 I dont know what they are called touch-alternating-side-ground thingies -> 15 leg raises -> 30 seconds bicycle. I tried to give myself a weight-loss goal this break too, but seems like my family is determined to counteract this with as much rice as possible.
Got to go for now, will be back to finish this. If you are in Taipei, hit me up, I'm bored! Lets watch some TeSL together.
