Don't see anything official up for him. Not sure if there will be, either, so I decided to make a post for him.

My Korean isn't great, but I had a friend confirm the basic idea. He said that he is retiring and will be joining the military. Says his retirement isn't due to the military and thanks everyone for the support.
If someone wants to do a full translation or finds a full article on it, let me know and I'll add it here.
Even though he beat the Afrotoss, this was one of my favorite moments in this split proleague:
Yes the text above basically says that he is retiring and then entering military service at the end. All the stuff above it is about thanking his fans for their support, that he has a lot of good memories from BW, and is sad that he is leaving the scene
Man, this guy had a lot potential despite being unable to deliver during televised matches and January had a lot of faith in him... Really sad to see him retire Wish him the best luck to his next chapter in life!
yeah, it's just a matter of when they will officially announce it. Because there probably is enough that they may not really do kind of the individual news announcements. Movie, tyson, etc etc are going to be retiring.
I'll always remember him for his one overly-enthusiastic-dramatic post-game (not post-match) interview where he said stuff like "it's so awesome to win // players should cherish every televised game they get because not everyone gets a lot of chances // thanks coach for trusting me // I wanted to win so bad because I wanted to interview like this" something along those lines. Not the guy who's had the most spotlight, but someone who understood the value of it.
