I think it's fair to say he'll probably remain as his been for a while, an outspoken individual who carries X amount of following which allows him to at least exist only playing SC2. Eventually people will probably get bored of it and he'll retire out of gaming without really having truly accomplished to much.

Seems a bit bitter... Destiny is a strong player on a level with many others in the lower pro ranks and it is certainly possible with some dedicated practice time at MoW he could move up in his play. Further, I'd say having a following of size X when Destiny never won any major tournament and making a decent living off of that following is something major he has accomplished in his SC2 career (brings to mind... um... Day[9]...), something many other pros have never and will never accomplish. For instance, what is it that you have accomplished Nerski? And how much of a following or income has it got you? While a fan of you and your playing I must say that it is a shame you have to come and bad mouth Destiny.
Actually, Day9 won WCG NA back in 2005 playing Starcraft: Broodwar.

stream is decent, plays good music and not the usual k-pop or brostep and he talks shit which can be entertaining as long as you don't take it too seriously.
The only issue I have with Destiny is that he sometimes gets on his high horse and thinks he's the only person who's ever gotten laid, had a child or a full time job.

Enough to support him, his ex-wive and child. Plus I think he said the house they (his ex/kid) live in is his that he pays for as well. Destiny makes a shit ton of money.

i really wonder how he'll do on the EU ladder, guess he won't make GM on EU

Once you see him in a sports car and owning a mansion, then you can say he makes "shit" a lot of money. you must have pretty low standarts.

It's "a shit ton" of money considering he earns it by letting people watch him play video games.

Music is def a big appeal. So many streamers play godawful top 40 unimaginitive chartpop. I'm shocked that people who have to be on a computer for 8-10 hours a day and are otherwise intelligent can be enough of simpletons to tolerate that kind of garbage.

...what? I'm top 10% masters on EU while playing on average ~1 game a day since sc2 got released and meeting tons of GMs, and let me tell you this: There is little to no difference between a masters player and someone thats #30-#200 GM. Its the ~top30(number taken out of ass on a spontaneous memory recollection of opponents faced since GM launched) that are the real beasts.
Dont forget GM is top 200 from the first 2 weeks of the season, and a lot of those are boosted accounts or mid/high-masters players on a lucky cheeserun.
Either way, someone like Destiny will make EU GM without breaking a sweat.

Considering that most Day[9] fans or Starcraft fans in general have watched his Daily#100, they would know about his accomplishments in Brood War. He also won the Pan-American Championships in 2007 over Testie at the time who was a beast from Canada. He's no joke of a player, just doesn't have as much time to play while casting major events every other weekend..
