So that means only 1 terran (Byun) qualified through the qualifier bracket... omg this is going to be a rough tournament for terran ... hopefully we'll see something new and revolutionary from MKP Mkp qualified the 4th invite was DRG

So is this 2 separate tournies or are they going to combine the kespa and non-kespa players at some point?

Can we just show up at the esports stadium and watch it?

Symbol or DRG has this thing in the bag, easily! I foresee 0 terrans getting to Ro8 tbh.

Hahahaha everyone speculating who will win... the choice is clear guys.
NSHSMan

Hmmmm It will be interesting watching Korean participation for future events with the full switch to SC2.
|
DRG in the first round? No problem for NSHMan. If it were his choice, he'd face all 8 zergs at once and still make it through.

Will be steam from OGN studio??or what"?
|
Will this be streamed at all?? First SC2 OSL and not even a 240p stream??
|
When the Kespa bracket merges with non-kespa bracket....I think cringe worthy moments will be had. Its still early and they are still practicing both SC2 and BW.

While it's somewhat true, the odds difference between BO1 and BO3 is not as big as you think.
If expected win rate of Player A against Player B is 60%
The chance A win a BO1 is 60% (duh) BO3 is 65% BO5 is 68% BO7 is 71% BO9 is 73% BO41 is 90%

Interesting seeding. I would have put at least 1 or 2 groups with a ZvZ though to reduce the likelihood of both Zs coming through. Like the Z dominance or not you need to admit having a RO8 with 6 or 7 Zs would not make for the most popular tournament even if those were the 6 or 7 best players in the world.

Best of 1, anything can happen.
Really, REALLY should be Best of 3. SIGH.
Wouldn't be surprised to see most games turn out to be cheeses. Especially the TvZs.

lol, I always think of DJEtterStyle's comment "I hope the Dual Tournament is as unpleasant as it sounds." on the PR when I hear "Dual Tournament."

Thread moved to SC2 general, it's slightly more appropriate there.

Artosis has to eat a sword if San gets out of that group. Which would bring him up to a total of two swords that he must eat.
Also Byun hwaiting! ^^
