Mech is already so gas intensive. The fact that you need other very gas intensive unit to make it work is kinda sad.
If you don't make tanks from more then 2 factories you can support starport and ghosts from 3 bases . The key is not to lose the tanks early without doing enough damage .
I've noticed while most players seem to go "I need to get out of here" when things go wrong hack seems to try to deal as much damage before dying instead, it seems to be working pretty well against lure but against a player with better composure I wonder how this version of crisis management would work out.

The lesson that needs to be learnt is how reliably can heavy hellion builds kill enough workers to make mech a good choice.
I was actually thinking about this, but that wouldn't work for long, toss players would just eventually learn how to wall properly and then mech would be lolmech again.
Right, any strat is useless because people will just adapt to it.
Not necessarily, but that particular branch (mech is the result of various openings) is very easy to adapt to when you look at it, pylon walls for hellions (they have gaps), no probe kills.
Thor-banshee-hellion is even better. Thors always do 60 damage regardless of unit type, they take a lot of damage and kill stalkers so fast.
This isn't even the best variation of mech play and Hack still won.
Feedback is kind of good against Thors.
You make a few ghosts and feedback your thors before you attack. It's an old trick. Mass hellions as well.
You might as well forgo the thors in the first place and just make more ghosts, eh? c_c
Yes, but a few thors in your composition make it just much more better, plus if you go thor banshee hellion, you scan and thors automatically kill all observers, and then your cloacked banshees do the work.
i loved when Hack sacrificed his units at Lure's third to let his medivacs escape. Overall, I am absolutely ecstatic about Hack's play. Hack v Creator is going to be amazing

And still dodgin the chargelots and collusus lasers and target the stalkers So good
