How come when I read through the first couple of paragraphs it's only SC2 bashing? Good way to attract SC2 fans to BroodWar imo. so what if its more than 10 years old now, CS 1,6 is almost as old and keeps being the #1 FPS game around
Yes. BW is kinda dead outside Korea, but why is that? Look, it is very hard to say this without trash SC2 foreigners but they dropped BW when SC2 Wings of the Liberty was in beta stage, even tho it had/has so many problems getting to be a trully COMPETITIVE e-Sport (damn, I think even WoW is called e-Sport these days) (as trendy, No LAN support, way less skill requirement, unbalances everywhere and a boring metagame that make games last until people get to 200/200), so what can you expect from that mix of WC3 and Broodwar players that MAINLY sold their dreams so they can make some money playing a more hyped game? anyways it won't be too long until people realise it is all hype, koreans get every single price money there is or the game you play get replaced by whatever the next expansion is.
Long live BW!
