Again im not saying his TvP is bad, obviously it could be a lot better, and given his daily practice partners its not a shock he left. Check is a good Z, but a bad practice partner because he has his own style. Im not hating on the Prime Team, it just makes a lot of sense why he would leave though. Thats all im saying. Smart decision on Polt's part. Wait whaaat? When did polt ever lose to these guys? He lost 0-2 against HerO in the IPL 3 qualifiers. Hate to be one of those guys, but it's not LAN, and he probably wasn't practicing too much for it. (Especially if he was playing it while the GSL was still ongoing.) Everyone knows Polt plays far better with preparation. Were they both playing on NA server from Korea? Because otherwise, if they're both on KR server, it's essentially the same connection as GSL "LAN".

Sounds like he's going to be taking a minor break from SC2 so he can focus on his studies. I'm doubtful he'll ever return to prime.
|
This is surprising. Well, best of luck to both parties.

Polt has a top 3 if not the best TvP in the world, what are you talking about? and hero beat him 2-0 because hero is insanely good and has one of the top and most innovative pvts out there.
This was surprising, bummer for prime, hopefully polt will join a godo team once he's done with university

This would be like saying that beating players in the Korean Weekly means the same as beating them in the GSL, and that's completely untrue. (Though yes, the Korean Weekly is often a good indicator of skill.)

Liquid`Polt!! Should be an awesome replacement for Huk ;D
|
I think he wants to focus on his studies. Idk, uni is intense and him going back and forth is pretty intense.
Whatever path you pick, Polt will always be Optimus in my eyes.
|
This was... entirely unexpected. I'm saddened that he left Prime, but if he has one semester left for university I can understand where he is coming from. The future of Polt is uncertain and a little bit startling... I hope he will stay around in the scene longer before he pursues his other goals after post-secondary.
Sounded as whatever change he wanted may involve joining a foreigner team or a team that has some capability of sending their players overseas. To be honest Prime hasn't really sent anyone overseas. They've done it multiple of times for MarineKing but he's always had to cancel them and they never send Polt (though not like he has the schedule to be sent).

woah Prime just lost their best Player, wonder what his plans are, perhaps a foreign team?

Unfortunately until MarineKing can actually win a gold... I don't think so.
Speaking by results, anyways.

EGPolt would be pretty hilarious! Make it rain scoots!

if you go by results MarineKing has been a lot more consistent. I don't think MarineKing is better than Polt(not recently), but he was in the finals 3 times against two players who are to this day the by far best players in world.
Anyway a bit sad Polt left Prime, I always thought the members were pretty loyal to their team especially since the interview about MarineKing being able to join IM when he was at his best. I just hope he doesn't join SlayerS and gets a good overall team.
