I'd be pretty confident saying its a single sound or three that are acoustically altered, layered, and re-mixed into a single file. Well at least one guy is actually doing something besides just talking. gj. =)

http://100gf.wordpress.com/2011/09/02/russia-claims-us-tunnels-hit-by-series-of-secret-nuclear-explosions/ Imagine something plausible, unverifiable (ofc, if not, it wouldn't be cool enough !), that explains the august sounds, other conspiracy things and also the recent US earthquake ! Imagine if the US were constructing tunnels with nuclear weapons ! Funny, no ? :p

I compared a spectrogram of the 'mystery noise' with some outdoor noise on the one hand, and some completely synthesized sounds (Rymdreglage - 8bit trip, an awesome song by the way, you can listen to it **HERE**) on the other. You can probably see the difference OK the chiptunes are the best thing in this thread so far, thanks for the link.

Something was there, they experienced something, but it doesn't have to be the thing they claimed they saw. He saw a UFO and thought it was aliens from space, turns out it was a weather balloon. The point i'm trying to make is, that person saw something, just like all those people heard something. Now what it is, we still have to find out. But you need to realize that those people are idiots, a person who sees or hears an unknown and then claims it to be something that he can't prove or something extremely imaginative... then that person is a godamn asshole who is stirring shit up for attention. I hear a sound in my apartment... I think something made that sound. I do not automatically start a blogg about how unknown sounds are heard throughout my apartment and it is probably Aliens or Werewolfs or molepeople or at the very least it's something special... My point is: Idiots and attentionwhores hjump to the most stupid and far fetched explanation first, instead of last. Yeah that sound MIGHT be aliens, but the chances are insanely low, that sound MIGHT be constructionworking, fake, self-edited, boats, sirens, etc. and the chances for that is NEAR 100% HIGH.

There are many monitoring stations watching for subterranean nuclear tests around the world, not to mention any seismograph would pick it up and pinpoint it within a km. much better than the alternative. I'm sure there is something completely explainable surrounding this that isn't "ALEINS" or some shit like that
