He did his homework. i can guarantee you, that socke didnt watch a single game of destinys, he is not known to prepair for "minor" tours - his groupstage @ NASL vs IdrA he played with a laptop from his hotel bed, nexus cancelling 3 times.. just an example. + you can to take into concideration, that: - Socke faced an unique style no1 else plays, which is not easy. - The game is like 1 month old - socke was in a small slump back then.

At first it was the biggest map in the pool and one of the only ones you were guaranteed to not spawn super close to your opponent. But once tosses realized there was an easily defendable third and nat, or possibly a corridor directly into your opponent's main, the rest was history. The cruncher style is hyper abusive of the narrow chokes on shakuras 1.1. Once protosses started to emulate crunchers playstyle on that map the matchup became pretty nightmarish.

Please explain how IPL is a minor tournament. In what world is a 50k prize pool small?

I personally have played (and been crushed by :D) Socke in a TL Open. He took 5 minutes to chill out and prepare for me. I'm in diamond. I feel like in a 50k tourney, he may have turned on Destiny's stream maybe once or twice before the games, although I'd be absolutely fascinated to hear from him how he prepares for matches like this.

Seriously they do this so much, someone should make a compilation of all the games they're doing this in, every time its obvious who won and they deny it. Oh come on, its the job of the caster to try to make the game as interesting as possible. If the casters kill off the game immediately by stating "well this game is over" when there is still some hope for the opposing player, then the game will continue and the casters will have nothing left to say. Although this may get a little bit annoying, its hardly the worst thing ever.

He always finds the craziest excuses for everything, always has to mention EU > US and cannot stand a EU player being talked bad about. His long time sig used to be "EU = KR > NA face the facts!" and in every other comment he presents this opinion to everyone. Such an annoying person not only on this forum. Well he is Europe-Grandmaster after all as one can hardly not notice :D Why the rage you ask? Well, he always downtalks everything and everyone, always points out the negatives, now I felt doing that about him :D

Korean BW commentators were not afraid to say mistakes players made or when a game was basically over.

So when there is real Excitement not fake its more Exciting
