Give me tips on how to survive. Where can I live cheaply? Or more likely squat cheaply? Where can I get showers? Basically how do I survive? My current plan is find another college campus with summer school going on (people have been kicked out of school for doing it where I am) and hang out in dorms and library. | ||

Uhh....an entry-level job will definitely allow you to afford a place to live... I mean come on, even if your post-tax wage is $4.00/hour and you work the standard 40 hours per week, you will make ~$640 a month, which is enough to afford a $2500/month apartment (if you have 4 roomates like you say) plus food and other essentials. That's a pretty nice apartment, even. | ||

Also, what college and what major are you? What year of college are you? I know times are tough especially concerning finding a job but if you give us more info you might get lucky. Whatever happens, good luck man. | ||

That's a pretty nice apartment, even. actually i think 40 hours is definitely above standard for these kinds of jobs. i think that in the 30's is standard if you're looking for full time but that might be hard to find, especially for summer jobs. it's because the managers don't want to pay for a single minute of overtime, so they schedule in the 30's to make a nice bubble of space. but yeah, it's still enough money. he could even decline to have any of his paycheck withheld for taxes, since he might make so little on the year that he's not gonna end up having any income tax anyway. | ||
