As the night fell this seemed like a good idea, we lynched Ver he was red, the drama progressed. The day post came and two DT's are now found dead. This was extremely strange to me. The mafia either has some sort of informant or something, or statistics make a fool out of us. There is a 3/40 chance of them hitting a dt, then a 2/39 chance. IT isn't high for them to take down two. Now for the next thing that doesn't make sense. I didn't post earlier hoping the mafia wouldn't notice this inconsistency. Ace said that "A little birdie" told him that Ver was a mafioso. That doesn't make sense. A DT gets ONE role use per day/night cycle. The DT couldn't use both role checks to check BOTH Ver and Ace. Which means the Dt would have had to blind trust Ace. Which isn't a smart thing to do without any evidence to back it up. So that means Ace was the the DT, not someone who PMed him. Then again, the blind trust thing is possible. But unlikely. Now the next thing. Ace gets mad several posts after the day post about how hes a Veteran and how he took a hit, and how the medics/martyrs didn't do anything. Now to me this is "...Wait, What? Ace is a Vet?" How the hell does that make sense? It just really doesn't. Two DT's died. Ace claimed that the only one he knew was a DT was Camlito. Now the only person who an confirm whether or not Ace is lying is dead. Also he would of had to have been the one who role claimed, and now he is dead. Camlito was very smart. He ran the lucchese family last game who would of won, I can't see him blind trusting Ace the way it would now have had to happen. During this entire period I have been PMing Ace, Upon reading that post I start PMing him with my doubts about his motives and how I don't really trust him as much anymore. I asked for an explanation for all this, to which Ace didn't give one. I told him that if he didn't start trying to explain, I would just post everything I thought which I think would discredit him a lot. Thus we come to this, I am debating on whether or not I should share the PMs. I will later on if I deem it necessary. For now, I don't know what to do with Ace, but I would say take everything he says with a grain of salt until we have something set in motion. While this is true, we also should have 1 additional thing to work with. There were supposed to be 5 hits. I only saw 4 go through. Therefore we have a 'missing' hit. Now it is possible that Ace is scum and the mafia deliberately didn't use one of their hits/ stacked a hit. It is also possible that someone else took the extra hit in which case they should come forward RIGHT AWAY. As far as the lynch goes, Ace has hinted that he had contact with 2 DTs, not 1 (so camlito + a DT that is not spiral). (otherwise why would he publicly tell the DTs not to check the Folca AND Scaramanga lists despite them being the 2 smallest lists - hence the best chances to catch a break?) Therefore, I think the best course of action is to trust Ace and hit the Folca list. | ||

I guessed the mafia didn't read the DT role carefully (BC didn't even know I could do that when I asked him about it at first) so I decided I would try and catch them hiding once we had a few targets to work on through smaller lists. I think it might be a little more balanced with less DTs and more vigis? | ||

At that point, I just didn't want too many people to know I was a DT so I stood a better chance of getting off my rolechecks/votechecks, and I figured that 3 was about as stable a number as I was going to get. I figured if I died then either the mafia would have to use a lot of hits on townies, or they lose another mafia to take me out. Regardless, I was watching your clue analysis decently carefully. However I was trying to cluecheck only people that were not on the lists and you didn't really put forward many candidates. Mynock and I kinda tried to follow up on your clue analysis, but neither of us really got that far. I wanted it discussed in the thread, but I was trying to play "inactive townie" because anyone who posted (or voted) died. I must say, it is kinda frustrating to be trying to post everything through other people though. Sometimes things just don't get posted that quickly, other times they aren't posted correctly. Did I totally misread how my votechecks worked with the silencer? I was under the impression that I would only get the silencer with them if he was red when he voted, not when I checked the list. And yeah, I like the ability to check the no vote list, it was just bad this time because the mafia didn't know about it. | ||

As I've told Ace, I'm just a guy playing for his own entertainment. Just FYI, I've already talked to a couple people through PM/MSN for the sake of boredom and to discuss my general observations, but I never posted anything in the thread to "persuade" the town or pull a movement in the background. I really care-less whoever wins at the end. So whatever I enjoy doing, I'll continue to do so. Also, take note that I never trusted you. I trust no one. But you(guys) don't have to convince me anything, mafia or not, as my existence shouldn't matter to either parties. | ||

I specifically got myself into that 3/4 Mafia list as I figured some DT would check it. That is what I call fun. Too bad AZ bailed me out and took away half of it. Also, Mynock already knew I was veteran as of our second PM. But on the bright side, at least I did use legitimate vote on the last day, though not that it matters, again. Yeah, I assumed you were in contact with Ace and/or Caller. You being veteran didn't make it's way to me I don't think haha. We would have had a role discrepancy at that point because Scaramanga was convinced Clazz was a vet as well. He later roleclaimed green to Amber or Mynock (I don't remember which), which had me suspicious enough that I was planning on getting him lynched next after the guaranteed lists got taken care of. Oh well, that's what I get for trying to do everything via a mouth. | ||

However, I stayed pretty active behind the scenes, jumping from voice to voice and trying to keep a circle of 3 other players. The thing I was most worried about was that you would silence Ace and kill caller and scaramanga together. At that point I didn't really have many alternatives for people to go talk to. Amusingly, one of the higher people on that last was Clazziquai because Scar was so convinced that he was a vet. | ||

From Caller/ my analysis: i have a link for shadowdrgn to apophosis first he fires two shots into the knees -plays fps then he lets time do its work -plays mmorpgs add the shadows and his sketchy behavior and we have our shadowdrgn When I saw that Apophis got a headshot the day he (dinmsab) died, I just assumed that it was another FPS reference and had Scar oust you as Apophis without reading the vigi hit carefully enough. At that point, someone else linked you decently well to Kali I thought and so I decided it wasn't worth waiting for Amber to move the bomb. | ||
