CJ 마재윤이 25일 신한은행 프로리그 08-09시즌 1라운드 4주차 경기에서 SK텔레콤 전상욱을 꺾으며 시즌 3승째를 신고했다. 마재윤은 전상욱이 들고 온 메카닉 전략에 대해 뒷길로 상대를 교란하는 작전을 펼치며 승리를 거뒀다. 마재윤은 "메카닉 전략을 많은 테란들이 쓰지 않는 것은 다 이유가 있다"며 "4강에서 김준영이 당한 것은 메카닉 전략이 오랜만이라 그런 것이고, 특별할 것은 없는 전략"이라고 말했다.
Savior of CJ won against Midas of SKT1, stacking 3 wins straight, during the 4th week of Proleague Season 08-09. Savior was able to overcome Midas' mechanic strategy by creating diversions mainly using the path from behind. After the win, Savior gave his opinion. "There is a reason why mechanic is not used by many terrans." And also said, "GGplay only lost to the mechanic strategy because it hasn't been used at all, there's nothing special about that build."
마재윤은 최근 기세가 좋다는 평가에 대해서는 크게 신경쓰지 않는다고 밝혔다. 마재윤은 "내 스스로가 느끼지 못한다면 의미가 없다"며 "고작 3승일 뿐이고, 이 정도에 만족하려고 그동안 고생하며 연습한 게 아니다"라고 말했다.
Savior, even though many think he's in a very good shape, does not mind at all. "If I don't feel it, then that's for nothing." Further more he stated, "It's mere 3 wins, and I didn't practice like hell just to be content with 3 wins."

-How do you feel about the win?
-It was a tough fight. However, because this allows us to be one of the top ranked teams in a proleague, I am satisfied.
-Did you prepare for the Mechanic Strategy?
-It's either bio or mechanic. The map favors the zerg, so I even prepared not only against mechanic but against diverse All-In strategies as well.
-Your thoughts regarding the new Mechanic strategy?
-Well... I don't really believe it's anything new or special... That build has been used before... and... tens and hundreds of Terran progamers knew about it... if that build was so powerful, why didn't anyone use it before? The build is not good and that's why they didn't use it.
As you can see today, two of our zergs won against two of SKT1 terrans, who are known to have the best Mechanic Terrans, by beating that very mechanic strategy. So I'm not really concerned at all.
-What is your answer to new mechanic strategy?
-Like I said before, the build existed long before and GGplay only lost because it's been so long ago and forgot the right counters. So really... it's an easy build and an easy build to counter.
Terrans from our team have better mechanic concept than the ones from SKT1. I think this is the reason why I had easier time against Midas today.
-When did you feel the game was yours?
-When I killed 2 valkyries, I knew the victory was slowly leaning toward myside. But I was confident from the start to finish to be honest.
-Some fans were secretly hoping for Savior vs Bisu, your thoughts?
-I didn't think about that possibility before... But I would've been confident regardless who came out, even against Bisu. I don't believe that even Bisu would have the confident to beat me in Raid Assault(Zerg map), so....
-Is this the return of Ma BonJa?
-I didn't think of it even once. If I don't feel it, then it's irrelevant.
Ma Bonja... such powerful term... But I didn't practice like hell just for three wins. Three wins are mere three wins.

. I would like to see Iris version of the mech build vs zerg . Him with some berserker vultures cruising through swarms lurkers and sunks just like he does with marines would be epic
