I'm not mafia. I guarantee if I'm lynched it will be a waste, as I am a townie. Not sure how I could prove it now though.I know I may not appear active, but I've been (mostly) reading this whole thread as it's come up. Also voted every day (well, I abstained last day). So, this is the clue that makes people think I'm mafia? Rebar, a portmanteau for reinforcing bar or reinforcement bar, is common steel bar, is commonly used in reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry structures. It is usually formed from carbon steel, and is given ridges for better frictional adhesion to the concrete. It can also be described as reinforcement or reinforcing steel. In Australia it is colloquially known as reo. SoleSteeler....... edit: As for bolding carbon, I thought that might point to useless, since his profile says that his favorite book is organic chem, which deals with the studies of chemical processes in carbon-based matter (organic = made of carbon). The steel part fits I guess, but there's no "sole" here. I highly suggest people not vote based on one part of my name. Even then, steeler is not steel. Steel bar is a long shot | ||

I'm not mafia Trust me When I was accused before, I said not to look at one part of my name. Now I need to say soul stealer != SoleSteeler. SoleSteeler has nothing to do with draining life, or energy, or anything. We need to stick with the people we know are mafia, trust me, I am not mafia. | ||

First of all, to be honest, I don't buy that the energy stealing thing is part of Mr. Pink. Day 1: ""Yes, but lets not be hasty, we should take care when proceeding" commented Mr. Pink as he began going over the plans." First day, Mr. Pink is cautious. Nothing to do with SoleSteeler, or anything relating to me in my profile, etc. (It's early in the game, I know) Day 2: "Mr. Pink responded by reminding them that death was now a normal thing in Liquidia." This can be interpreted in a few ways. Some have said that it makes him "calm, cool and collected", which is true; but of course, I see no way how that links to me. It's a logical statement of a fact. Maybe unsoundlogic? (Although I might have recalled seeing him on the "confirmed innocent" list.) "OneBlueAugust was getting up ready to fight Mr. Pink but slipped on some gooey substance on the ground." What is this gooey substance, and is it even connected to Mr. Pink? How does that connect to me? Sorry, I've tried to keep up with this thread over the past few weeks, but it's hard to find specific info; has anyone figured out what that's supposed to be? Certainly gooey has nothing to do with "sole", which is a fish or the bottom of a shoe, or "steel", which is the opposite of gooey! There is no mention of draining; you lose strength if you're in a fight and you're getting the shit kicked out of you by an "able fighter". It's a slightly weird way to word it, I agree, but it doesn't necessary imply anything about "draining", which would indicate that Mr. Pink is getting stronger, when he is clearly already strong in the first place (able fighter). Nothing like "as Mr. Pink continued to beat OneBlueAugust, he felt his strength rising as OneBlueAugust's got weaker." I just don't see anything about draining. Even then, as I said before, SoleSteeler != Soul Stealer. What about someone like "Energies" who's name is more connected with a life force than mine? I've also seen the word "incubus" being thrown around. That's a pretty specific demon to pick; Mr. Pink isn't going around seducing women and draining their souls, so I don't get why someone might think that Mr. Pink is an incubus. Day 3: "Mr. Pink and Mr. Brown were standing just in front of his phone and as he glanced at it Mr. Brown picked it up and said "oh you want this?" and smashed it on the table breaking it in two. "Sorry we can't have you doing that, allow me to introduce myself I'm Mr. Brown and my quiet friend here is Mr. Pink. We're here to kill you."" Quiet friend. I suppose I am relatively quiet in the game, but there's many others who would fit the role as someone "quiet" more than I. Day 4: Mr. Pink doesn't appear (that I can tell) Ditto Day 5 (?) Day 6: + Show Spoiler + Mr. Brown and Mr. Pink were hunting their own prey that night. They were stalking down the street where shadowdrgn had previously been killed trying to find clues to the man responsible. It was obvious to them he was a threat as he was trying to find out who they were to kill. They found the crime scene and walked closer to get a better look. But as they approached it they noticed a man walking away. Both wondering who he was they decided they would instead find out by killing him right there. Mr. Brown called out to him as they ran towards his direction but BloodyC0bbler couldn't understand a word he was saying. BloodyC0bbler stopped to face them and tried to figure out what the ruckus was all about when he saw the looks on their faces. BloodyC0bbler decided it was best to run from them instead and started heading toward his car parked a couple blocks down. He almost already felt himself dying as he ran as hard as he could but Mr. Pink eventually caught up to him first and tackled him to the ground. Mr. Brown snagged a rather sharp stone from someones yard decoration and quickly caught up. Mr. Pink held BloodyC0bbler down as Mr. Brown smashed the stone several times into his skull. They were quite satisfied to see BloodyC0bbler's corpse turn blue as they headed back to mafia HQ. So Mr. Pink is fast (caught up to him first). Or at least faster than Mr. Brown. Both mafioso are brutal here, but holding someone down as another smashes his head in with a rock (from a yard decoration, hmm), is again in no way connected to me. Anyways, I am seriously baffled that anyone would see the "proof" presented against me as "concrete" or "damning" at all. We have one line (that I can tell) that can be interpreted as someone who's life is being "drained", but it's certainly not for sure. When you're getting beat up, you feel your strength leaving you. It's fairly common to see that in creative writing. Anyways, Mr. pink has no mention of fish, steel, or of being a loner too (like the "sole" person), since he's usually with Mr. Brown. We have other people that have are more likely mafia, so I would ask all of you to at least get rid of those people first, and hopefully more clues will come forth, and you will continue to see that there isn't a shred of evidence that links anything Mr. Pink has done to me. | ||

I've read most of these posts, but it's the last day for many of my friends' exams and I, so I am too drunk to respond. Tomorrow, hopefully, I will. Now I will at least say, please, please ,please, vote for others who are more concrete. I hope that in a couple days with more Mr. pink clues you'll see i'm no mafioso. It'll be clear  trust me. | ||

Obviously Mr Pink has attain this quality from Yogurt as before he just dealt a single punch - without following it up with blow after blow - but here is the kicker; Blow after blow came and finally OneBlueAugust fell to the ground with no strength left to live. OneBlueAugust is tapped of his own life energy - Mr Pink stole it Why is it obvious that Mr. Pink obtained this from Yogurt? Yogurt is drunk and full of courage, this is clearly indicated: "No fear though, they had each had their share of the drink that evening and were ready to fight an army if one would present itself", it is not him being "able"; Mr. Pink is the able fighter right away, as he gets a punch in on Yogurt immediately after Yogurt knocks down sidewinder. Yes, it also says: "With each attack Yogurt made a crazy and elaborate counter.", but even then there is no mention of Mr. Pink mirroring this; rather, he is already stronger than Yogurt. Since Yogurt is basically fighting 4v1 (4v2?), he is going to be tired. Especially since he's drunk, it's rare to get more than a burst of energy that lasts a short while when you're drunk. Coincidentally Fishball had been looking for those darts and was turning around the corner just after it happened. He gasped in shock as he saw the corpse and immediately ran to call for help. He almost there when he saw two mafia in his way. While this day is 90% Mr Brown acting, there are a couple key lines for Mr Pink quiet friend here is Mr. Pink. Very inetering to note is that on day 1 mr pink spoke, day 2 mr pink said something - but it wasn't explicitly said and today he whispers to Mr Brown Fishball was stricken with fear, he got on his knees and begged for their mercy. Mr. Pink said something to Mr. Brown and instead of shooting Fishball, they viciously beat him till he fell unconscious. Fishball died a few hours later to internal bleeding. This is a rather peculiar aspect about mr Pink, the question is why would you attack someone begging for mercy in such a manner to let them die in a slow painful death. He's beating him into unconsciousness, isn't that explicitly stated? When someone is viciously beaten, they fall unconscious. Still, you asked a good question: why attack someone begging for mercy? I am saying that Mr. Pink is a brutal man, as evident by his actions. He's also skilled at fighting. Mr. Brown and Mr. Pink were hunting their own prey that night. The first thing which struck me in this clue was Mr. Brown and Mr. Pink were hunting their own prey that night. Which instantly makes me think that Mr Pink is either some kind of animal, or he feasts on humans. This is also the first time that Mr Pink has been introduced before the victim. This is followed up immediately by They were stalking down the street where shadowdrgn had previously been killed trying to find clues to the man responsible. stalking being defined as 1. A hunt for game carried on by following it stealthily or waiting in ambush 2. The act of following prey stealthily Which tie nicely in with the idea that Mr Pink is hunting for food He almost already felt himself dying as he ran as hard as he could This is the pivotal clue in this day - the fact that BC is dying before he is even struck. Much like the other victims of Mr Pink their life force is leaving them before they die. but Mr. Pink eventually caught up to him first and tackled him to the ground. Mr pink suddenly has acquired the trait of being fast - probably from leeching BC Why not mention that Mr. Brown is also stalking a prey? Since it's attributed to two mafia, it seems that it's mainly the writer being a bit creative. As far as I can tell (feel free to correct me), BC is not shown as being fast. The fact that Mr. Pink "eventually" catches up with BC means that he probably is just faster in general than him. Remember he is clearly in good "shape", for killing and fighting at least; it's not a stretch to assume that he's a quick runner as well. Killers often need to catch victims, or flee a crime scene etc. I will admit the fact that he feels himself dying before Mr. Pink even touches him might be attributed to life draining, but it's also that he might know of Mr. Pink's reputation, and knows that he doesn't stand a chance, so he thinks of himself as good as dead. If I was being chased by someone who appears to be an efficient, cold-blooded killer, I would think of myself as dead before I was even touched too. Here are the options;
No suspects come up under the first two headings, however SoleSteeler comes up under the third and ties in nicely with all the evidence/lists that we have at our disposal. While our links for Mr Pink are weaker than a number of other suspects, by the time it comes to SoleSteeler being lynched we should have a lot more evidence all ready to examine and judge whether this analysis holds. Superhuman sure, you could say it like that, or you can simply say he's an able fighter (as stated explicitly) and is coldblooded (smashing people's faces into the ground, killing people begging for mercy, uses a head as a weapon etc.) Anyways, I hope you guys are willing to wait a couple more days to see some more clues. I do believe that my name will be cleared. I also will admit I don't have anyone to point to right now, but hopefully we can focus on much more damning clues first? | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Zeks and AcrossFiveJulys were cruising around town hoping they could find some mafia up to no good. They found what was supposed to be an abandoned warehouse but the lights were on. Thinking it had mafia hideout written all over it they decided to go in. The door was locked however, so Zeks pounded on it until someone came to answer. Mr. Brown opened the door and he and Mr. Pink walked out. "I hope you guys were looking for trouble because you just found it" said Mr. Pink and they both threw punches at their respective targets. Mr. Brown landed punch after punch on AcrossFiveJulys who was doing poorly to defend himself. Zeks put up a bit of a fight as he took on Mr. Pink, but Mr. Pink was determined to make him feel some pain. He finally got him into a corner and pulled out a can and a lighter. Mr. Pink emptied the contents of the can onto Zeks and lit him on fire. Zeks tried to put the fire out by rolling on the ground but it kept burning. He was about to get up and pull off his clothes but Mr. Pink decided he had suffered enough and knocked Zeks unconscious and let him burn to death. AcrossFiveJulys was laying on the ground dead also, beaten to death by Mr. Brown and he accompanies Mr. Pink back into the building humming a little tune to get his mind off the violence. Burning people alive? Yikes | ||
