I'm not a "fan" per se, but I see them really improving in the coming year. This was opnly Sheis' first season and he has emerged as an ace for the team, Hwasin has improved his TvT and TvP immensely.

Terror showed his expo-whore sense in the prelims, Kal has been doing quite decently this season, and Calm I feel is poised to make a leap forward.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were in contention for a playoff spot next season as well.

edit: oh, and Soo sucks.

i'm not sure if there's any reason to be too huge a fan of STX

its not that their players are necessarily bad, they just really lack alot of flair. honestly, before this proleague, STX was that team that had all the leftover junk players: they regularly had no team members in starleagues, and those that did manage to make a showing (think yooi/child) got trashed.

now that STX is doing well, its interesting to note how the team doesn't REALLY rely to heavily on a single player. If you say Samsung proleague performance, I immediately think Firebathero and Stork. Bring up Lecaf, and i think Anytime and Jaedong. However, mention STX to me, and there's Kal, Hwasin, Mind, Sheis, Child, Soo etc. All players have won key games in various matches, and as a result, no player really stands out in my mind. its difficult to have a huge passion for a team when you don't have much of a passion for any of the players individually.

Gotta love Kal and Sheis (i've grown warmer towards sheis as of late and Kal owned up when he was in Siz)) but they won't beat MBC. I mean there is Light, Bisu, Pusan, and Sea. That's one of the strongest line-ups in all of Proleague compared to a good but not high caliber line up? It won't be a close match, STX make take a win in the 2v2 but that's it.

Correct: 2 wins (there are 2 2v2s)

STX reminds me of Hanbit (Hanbit is a bit better in my opinion) but still when I see Hanbit I think STX and vice versa so they fall into the underdog category for me and got to root for the underdog. Kal and Sheis are pretty good, playing Pusan and Sea will be tough but if they can do well in the 2v2's and Kal and Sheis hold their own they can maybe pull a win.

Evidently I was wrong, Kal sucks now. STX is screwed then I suppose :x.
