Fnatic has a good schedule in Europe for most people, but I just have to work night shifts this week, missing both quarters and semis. Pretty damn stoked for the second quarter, I really hope xpeke and the guys can pull out a win.

Haven't watched much of Fnatic but good lord Royal looked scary ridiculous against OMG. Fnatic really needs to prep for this one.

Royal obviously have a good chance but I think people are forgetting that matches between teams that know each other very well from their regional leagues have their own special dynamic. They didn't show anything we didn't already know about them in this quarter. I feel the same way about Royal vs Fnatic now as I would have if they were drawn to play each other in the quarterfinals, and that is that it's a fairly balanced match-up.

I dont think they will ban. I am pretty sure they will put the duo lane mid if xPeke pick kassadin

Kassadin doesn't need mid though, xPeke can just lane it against someone else in that case

I would just ban kass. Duoing mid forces you into playing fast push/VERY aggressive pick, because if you don't, Kass gets a relatively safe lane to recover in while simultaneously making it much more difficult for your midlaner to farm without putting jungler behind. From this tournament, from the better kassadins, they get behind(standard), but not ridiculously so, and come back very, very strongly. A lot of the popular picks simply can't deal with a kassadin, especially as the game goes later.

For fnatic vs Royal, I'm thinking we'll see fizz, zed, kass ahri, vayne and either a leona or corki ban. Fnatic's form has been looking fairly sharp, but I'd have to give Royal the upper hand. 3-1 or 3-2 to Royal.

As for the other set, SKT vs Najin. I predict 3-1 or even 3-0 for SKT, primarily off the strength of mid lane/bottom lane. Najin got carried very very hard by their bottom lane just pooping on Gambits weak duo every game. I definitely don't think they're going to get such an easy win against a stronger duo lane, especially against SKT who are probably going to be lane swapping if Najin continues to draft very offensive duo lanes. I'm not sure how Nagne's champion pool will hold up to the multitude of midlane targeted bans. Nagne only showed Ahri and nid. While he did pick up kills on both champions, quite frankly his play was not that impressive. If out of all the midlaners left, he picked nidalee, you really have to wonder at what champions nagne actually plays. With Faker playing almost every midlaner in the game at top 3 world level, I think the pick ban phase could doom nagne from the start. Especially with najin's frankly atrocious drafting(nunu with a corki, are you serious?), I don't think they stand much of a chance.

Expect a thresh, and then 2 midlaners from SKT, and probably 2 more midlaners and a zyra ban from Najin sword.

Midlaners banned: ahri, zed universal bans, and then most likely a fizz/gragas bans from NJS.

I think the best part about Royal winning is that Tabe actually picked Annie support like he said he would in the Travis interview. Tabe is such a good guy, makes me want Royal to take the whole tournament just because of his personality.
