Welcome to the first annual Who Ya Got League of Legends World Championship Bracketology contest!
I don't know what this is about, but it's giving me an esports stiffie. Tell me all about it JonGalt! Don't worry my friend, I will satisfy your eboner.
How often do you go into a LR thread and see such things as: "TSM gonna 3-0 ezpz" "SKT gonna take the finals 3-2" "Gambit can't lose! They'll beat Fnatic 3-1"
Everyone loves to make predictions, but now it's time to sack up and put your edollars where your keyboard is.
Sounds like fun, but how does it work!? Well I will tell you exactly how it's going down
Who Ya Got 2013 will be played in 2 stages - the group stage and the bracket stage.
After weeks of thought, calculations, and failed algorithms I have created a flawless system to determine the winners of Who Ya Got 2013.
Group Stage
1) You receive 3 points for correctly predicting the place of each team throughout the group stage. 2) You receive 2 points for correctly predicting the map score of each team throughout the group stage. 3) You receive 10 extra points for correctly predicting the exact standings of a group. You receive an additional 10 points if you also have the correct map scores as well.
Max points = (15 + 10 + 10 + 10) * 2 = 90
Bracket Stage
1) You receive 5 points for correctly predicting each quarterfinal match and an extra 2.5 points for the correct map score. 2) You receive 15 points for correctly predicting each semi final match and an extra 5 points for the correct map score. 3) You receive 40 points for correctly predicting the final match and an extra 10 points for the correct map score.
Max points = 20 + 10 + 30 + 10 + 40 + 10 = 120
But wait JonGalt, the quarterfinal matches will be randomly drawn. How ever will this work!? Good point, but don't worry - I've got you covered.
There will be 3 different ways to win: 1) Best Group Stage Score 2) Best Bracket Stage Score 3) Best Overall Score
ALL GROUP STAGE PREDICTIONS MUST BE MADE BY SEPTEMBER 15, 12PM PST
After the group stages have concluded, and the bracket has been finalized, you will be able to make your bracket prediction.
ALL BRACKET PREDICTIONS MUST BE MADE BY SEPTEMBER 23, 2PM PST
I'M EXCITED AS SCHOOL GIRL GOING TO PROM!! But what can we win!? Your questions are on point today! There are many exciting prizes to win!
Each winner will receive an official Who Ya Got certificate, sent all the way from Lesotho!
The overall winner will also receive a souvenir from Lesotho and the right to call themselves the original Leagueodamus!
Who will claim the title? Will the TL writing staff triumph? Will Yango make us all look like fools? Will your average TL LoL community member rise to the challenge? Or does an underdog like JonGalt, who has only seen one game in all of Season 3, stand a chance?

Group A 1) SKT 8-0 2) TSM 5-3 3) OMG 5-3 4) LD 2-6 5) GG.EU 0-8
Group B 1) Samsung 7-1 2) Fnatic 6-2 3) Gambit 4-4 4) Vulcun 3-5 5) Mineski 0-8

Bring it on snitches.

Group B 1) Samsung 8-0 2) Fnatic 5-3 3) Gambit 5-3 4) Vulcun 2-6 5) Mineski 0-8
Gambit over Fnatic in a tiebreaker.
Also just for clarity, since Fnatic-Gambit would be 1-1 in my prediction whether Riot places Fnatic or Gambit at 2 before the tiebreaker shouldn't matter.

Lemondogs looked really strong in the last weeks. I'm hoping that they can continue their performance on the international stage. While I think that pretty much any of the LCS teams that qualified can perhaps take a game off the Koreans, I doubt that anyone will be able to take a game against the Korean Teams in a Best of 1 Round Robin.
