So I am watching inside the game and incontrol just confirmed that cloaken contacted him and told him blizzard does not ask for money from mlg to run sc2 at mlg. I am just writing a text on this topic since this simply blows away the entire theory that mlg payed money to run sc2 and this is why they dropped it. Literally mlg just dropped their second most viewed game that they had for free. Very bad business decision from mlg. | ||

Last MLG they only officially ran tournaments for Call of Duty, League of Legends, and Starcraft 2. Infinite Crisis and Planetside 2 were there was promotional titles, too, though. | ||

I think it could be as simple as MLG getting fed up with getting the most negative feedback from the community over everything they did or did not do. MLG really got the most flak by far out of all the organizations, except maybe Kespa back in the day (I'm not 100% whether it was all deserved or not - I'm sure at least some definitely was and some definitely wasn't). | ||

Such a sad moment for the community to be treated in this manner by a organization who was there to promote the game. Just keep finding more and more reasons to not care, stay motivated or stick around in the community any longer  | ||
