If it's about design issues then there should be a seperate thread for it. I for one would love to go to the balance thread and read discussions about actual balance issues and the current state of the game instead of "Protoss is poorly designed because of forcefield"

For example, helbats were fine balance-wise but were causing problems in TvT. Can it be discussed in balance thread? | ||

While there's a lot of overlap, we're not advocating a complete expungence of discussion related to Brood War abilities, or Brood War units. We're just advocating a drawing of the line between fundamental game design of SC2, and things that are more couched in the state of the game as it is, or suggestions that are realistically implementable. It's a source of much pointless derailing, but equally the discussion is interesting a lot of the time. It would be nice to split them so the design issues don't overlap and derail so frequently, but equally that they have a place they can be expressed. | ||

The thread should be about the current status of the game (and how to improve that) and not "add lurkers!! we luv em!!111" | ||
