Wales Fell (or whatever the smurf is) made a good point that pardoner is really only beneficial to scum. But I'm confused why any mayor would announce intention to autolynch pardoner, broadcasting that plan to the scum guarantees that they won't get the role lol

It is concering that he wants people to explain a lack of scuminess though. That's just not going to happen. There's no point in defending prom for anyone in this game unless your name is prom or you have someone you consider to be far more scummy.
The first one is irrelevant, the second one is done by explaining why you think guy-#2 is scummier and should be an option as well.

So while the question might look decent and open minded it's actually really naive to assume something like that would help at all.

As you can see Promethelax post makes very little sense if taken form a townie perspective, but makes a lot of sense given a scum mentality. I'll refrain from expanding my thoughts on macho man from now as to not derail this lynch.
