HotS mapping spree contiunes, this time with the Kal'dir tileset! Not the most interresting tileset to work with as it is mostly... white in color. But boy, those cliff doodads sure look pretty. Anyho, this is my newest map for HotS where I've been playing around with the idea of high ground expansions, close to the middle, which pathways can be closed down to one only. (Till reopened again) Collapseable rock towers is the new thing!

Map details:
Hell is a 148x128 playable map.
Map contain 12 expansions (Mains incl.)
Two Xel'naga Watchtowers can be found north & south from middle area, on the lowground.
Line of Sight blockers are located on various locations.
Distance between nat ramps is 128'ish (editor measure tool)

Moved mains slightly towards the naturals.

Playable area has been reduced down to 148x128 from 160x128
One addinational half base has been added to each side. making the amount of total bases jump to 12 from 10.
Blocked pathway to third has been opened and widened, making army movement to or from it easier.
Major texture & doodad work has been done. (mainly due to rescale of the map size.)

Currently, ramp to ramp distance is 140 acording to the measure tool in the editor. (To compare, Akilon Wastes natural ramp, not main! Got 120)
It never really hit me about the size of the map, as I thought the smaller length (128x) would even it out a bit, but now I'm experimenting around a bit to decrease the size to 152x128, reducing the ramp to ramp distance to 128'ish. (Couldn't decrease it even more without screwing the layout out too much. )

In addition, I'm also trying to ad in one half base for each side.
Any thoughts before I contiune fleshing out this new layout?

Is it a bad thing that the map is really big?

I like that the maps quite big and everythings a bit more spread out. Encourages army movements.

The choke between main and nat seems to be blocked by one FF. Too easy for toss to harass?

I don't think there needs to be destructible rocks near the 3rd, and the path to the 3rd needs to be opened up. As is, a player can easily hold 4 bases by controlling a single choke.

How is this any different from any other map, besides not having a ramp?

Made some updates to the new layout, while also managing to shrink down the size again! Playable area is now 148x124
Pathway to 3rd has been opened up made wider, for easier army movement.

Now before applying the last details (doodads), I would love to hear some last minute thoughts on the layout, if anything else should be changed.
