Hello
In the last few months, you have exploded in popularity, and won quite a few tournaments as a result, how has this period been for you?
even if I had won many tounrnament, I keep practicing. so that I can win GSL
You were picked up by Team Liquid after winning quite a few of the ESV Korean weekly tournaments, how much of your current success to you attribute to winning these online tournaments and being picked up by Team Liquid?
After I joined TeamLiquid, I was in GSL ro8 and I have visited foreign tournaments. also I won some tournament.
A lot of people are calling you the best player in the world, as of right now, do you think this is the case, or do you think there’s someone better than you?
I didnt think that I'm TOP 1. but I feel happy because I am called 'TOP1 player'
I think that my rival doesn't exist yet.
Going into this MLG, did you have a good feeling, and how high were your hopes?
First, I want to win this tournament. but after crank beat me, I have to go to Loser braket
so Second, I want to be Top 16 because I want prize money.
And then, I talked to Hero when I have to play against Hero.
we promised each other 'this match's winner have to win this tournament'
but I lost.. I really wanted to win this tournament, but I feel confuse when I heard
that if you want to win ro4, you must get 4 wins from your opponent' (interviewer note: This is due to the MLG loser bracket system, extended series)
This MLG did not start as most people had predicted, you lost early versus your former teammate Crank, how did you feel about that series?
I think that crank anylazed my game style well . and I felt uncomfortable about his game style.
But you came back masterfully after your BO3 against Crank, and beat players like Revival, Hero, Ryung and Alive, but you lost against 2 protoss players, Crank and First, is this matchup a problem for you?
I really like to play against protoss. but I wasn't confident when I was beaten by crank.
You ended up winning the consolation match vs TheSTC, securing 3rd place, considering how the tournament ended up going, are you satisfied with this placement?
I can't always win all tournament. so I feel satisfied to get 3rd/4th
How do you feel about the current balance of StarCraft 2? Do you think anything needs to be changed right away?
Zerg can defend easier than the other races. Zerg can attack easier than other races.
Also if zerg has a lot of infestors, the other races can't win against zerg. so zerg must be nerfed
A lot of your teammates stream their games quite a bit, is this something you’re considering?
2 days ago, I was streaming and if I have a lot of time, I want to stream more.
What upcoming tournaments can we expect to see you in?
I will play GSL ro16 on 19th and I will fly to Dreamhack on 20th
And finally, do you have any shout outs or words for your fans who cheer on you?
I am really thankful for my fans who has been cheering for me.
and now many people call me 'TOP1 player' so I really want to get good result!
