I'm glad that I was able to be helpful to the team. Before, I would always lose because of nerves. Luckily, I didn't become nervous today, so I was able to win.
Is there a reason you weren't nervous?
Since my last Code A match, I haven't felt as strained. After beating Choya, my feelings of tension loosened up.
For the second set, you came out and defeated Choya, who went for a Stargate unit composition.
If the Protoss goes for the Stargate, defending is simple if you build two Spore Crawlers. In that scenario, you can gather expansions while pressuring, then crush him with your army during the late game.
During the third set against asd, you went for a quick Greater Spire.
Antiga Shipyard is a good map for the Infestor-Brood Lord-Corruptor composition. I calculated that as long as I could hold the center, I would be able to win.
During the fourth set against TheBest, you forced a cancel on a Command Center with a Zergling timing.
I knew that TheBest often uses mech unit compositions and that FXO Terrans like to take a quick second base. The 9 pool attack took advantage of that.
Before you were sent out, how many players did you predict that you would defeat?
At first, I felt that even one kill would be fine. After winning against asd, I believed that I would be able to take at least three.
After your fourth kill, you must have felt a desire for the all-kill.
I certainly did, but unfortunately, I lost because I made a mistake. If I had just managed to block that attack, I would have been in a superior position.
Were you scheduled to be sent out right after the starting player?
I wasn't necessarily set to be put out after inori. Recently, I've had a lot of confidence against Protosses, so it was a good opportunity to face a Protoss for me.
During the sixth game for match point, you lost to GuMiho.
I scouted the Barracks with a Drone, and it was an 11/14 Barracks build. 11/14 Barracks is on the slow side for timings, and I could have broken it with few losses if I had gone out with a lot of Drones.
Which team do you want to face in the Ro4?
Our manager tells us that we have a rivalry with LG-IM, so I want to face them. I think the games will be exciting.
Assuming that you do face LG-IM in the semifinals, whom would you want to play against if you were to be sent out?
I want to play YongHwa, Seed, or MC. I am that confident against Protoss.
Recently, Protoss players have been calling Brood Lord-Infestor unit compositions in the late game overpowered.
Although I do use Brood Lords, I prefer to use timing attacks using Roaches, Zerglings, and Infestors.
Right now, Life, the rookie Zerg, has made it to the GSL finals. As a fellow Zerg player, has it gotten you excited?
Life's style is something that he perfected on ladder. It's not something that anyone can easily emulate, and I think Terrans are losing because they are unable to respond to it. I think Life is an amazing player.
Life's style must have become a hot topic within the Zerg-heavy TSL.
It has. It's a style that can only be performed with Life's level of control and understanding of strategy. It's just a style involving simultaneous production of Zerglings and Drones, but it's not something that you can merely do after watching it. Because such a young player as Life made it to the Code S finals on his first try, I felt some irritation, too.

Some hyungs whom I know personally are going to enlist in the military tomorrow. I hope that they are careful, and I look forward to their coming back. I told them as a joke that I would tell people about this during my interview, but I'm happy that I was able to do so.
