Some thoughts in no particular order first: -random lynch is stupid. no need to discuss it imo -it should be clear that if there is only one vote left to hammering someone, you should first off really think through the situation and then give appropiate reasons for the hammer. So please refrain from just sheeping in this instant majority lynch setup. -I do not like the idea of boxer claiming day 1, and in no way does it confirm him as he could be counterclaimed by scum/boxer/crazy townie or there could be no boxer in the setup anyway. If there is a boxer claim it should be saved until it is of some real use (e.g. lylo stuff) Now some directed stuff: @SnB: Why did you suggest random lynch? I do not want to hear why Palmar does it in whatever other game he played. I am interested in your arguments. @austin: There was no Boxer in GSL1, if I recall correctly it was the doc, parity cop setup. @phagga: I don't like your opening post. @Sinensis: there is a crucial mistake in your thoughts regarding the boxer claims. you are assuming that the blue roles know who each other are, but they do not, therefore a boxer claim is the "easiest" fakeclaim in the world. There is no way to out a fake boxer without having other blues counterclaiming (or claiming) immediately. Let's go through your scenarios: 3 boxer claim: I doubt that in a 9 player setup both scum would be fakeclaiming so it would probably at most be 1 scum between them. How do you plan to confirm who? We do not know if we got 1, 2 or 0 boxers, if there is a boxer he also does not know if there is another one. 2 boxer claim: The same problem, boxers don't know if there is another, other blues would know, but they would have to out themselves. How do you want to confirm the fact that there is one or more boxer without blowing the cover of our blues or lynching amongst the claimers? I would say we discuss further the topic of boxer if a claim shows up, there is not much use to speculate around it right now. @ottoxlol: What is your read on SnB? | ||

from what I got from the last game I played with SnB he is neither dickish nor too unclear as scum. So I would say that the remark from sinensis was unrelated to meta, especially since he was not referring to it anyway. What strikes you as confusing in the little talk between SnB and me? I would also be interested in your read on ottoxlol. | ||

While he has been an active person the real amount of contribution was kind of low, I also did not like the way he kept theorizing about Boxer or not Boxer-stuff when it was not really relevant at all. Next up phagga: His votepost really struck me as odd. He accuses ottox of not playing like a townie should (scumhunting, establishing own innocence) while ottox' defense was precisely scumhunting on his own terms. While it may not be that good at establishing townieness, I think it to be town to look for scum instead of defending yourself all the time. Last but not least iamperfection should really be stepping it up. While he did the first vote of the game, it was with rather poor reasoning imo and he has largely gone back to lurking. What are your reads at the moment iamperfection? Still want to lynch thrawn? I'll be heading out again, but be back before I sleep. Laters! | ||

@Iamperfection: I do not want to lynch austin, since he reads as town to me. The thing with thrawn is, while there is some stuff that looks bad, it can also be kind of townie, so I am more for keeping him around for at least another day. Also being one of the more active persons, it should get easier to read him as the game progresses. It is poor reasoning since the derpage of doing associative tells that early could simply be town as well. Stupidity is universal and not limited to either alignment. So I do not like to kill him off that in addition to the things I mentioned already. @Sinensis: I read that whole dialogue, no need to remind me to do it. Still I did not like how you jumped on him. Point remains. @phagga: Who do you want to lynch? @Bluelightz: Same question as above. Who is scummiest in your opinion? | ||

There is close to zero content within his posts (most are short anyway). The first longer post is the more or less useless list of timezones, he admitted himself that talking about it is a good way to appear contributing while not doing it actually. Also look at the way he shifted his attention around, never called out somebody (besides the "lurkers" at the start) on his own, but piled up onto thrawn and ottox respectively as they started to get pressured by others. As the pressure subsides he pulls back as well. So I wanted him to give out reads of his own, maybe a target of his own, instead of sheeping others and blending in with thread-sentiment. Looks like he is either not online right now or prefers to lurk. Since I want to sleep soon, I won't stick around all the time until he posts. I cannot see any good town reasons for trying to blend into the thread and doing nothing besides piling up onto players already under fire. Looks incredibly scummy in trying to be on the "good" side of town, while seemingly "contributing" but actually just coasting along. I know it's a bit late to propose a new lynch target but phagga reads red to me now. | ||

Ottox' vote could be called omgus or scumhunting, it is kind of nullish. I already said that thrawn can be interpreted as scummy or townie so I am not so sure on it. I think both of them kind of talked to each other without listening to each other, at least it reads that way to me. As a result I dunno what to really make of it. Thrawn reads a bit as piling onto ottox while he is pressured, the votepost of his was not too informative, while ottox reads as kind of omgus. Both do not look too good in the exchange. | ||
