Starting July 2nd, 32 Chinese Starcraft II players who battled through the hell known as the open qualifiers will fly to Shanghai, Beijing, to find out who is the best among the best at the 2012 Starcraft II World Championship Series China Nationals, for one prestige direct seed into the 2012 Battle.net World Championship, and a total of 10 paid trips to the 2012 Battle.net Asian Championship, both of which will also be held in China later this year.

In the Grand Finals the normal double elimination rules apply, means the player coming from the Lower Bracket has to win two BO3s.
