Hello all,
I got a new computer recently and tried to install sc2 on it, but apparently my license limit has been reached for the region. Right after it installed the game and all the patches, I am just faced with the Battle.Net login screen and the 'connect' button is yellowed out. It doesn't matter what I type: it will not let me press it. I can't even log in as guest.
I have googled this problem and I haven't been successful in finding results. Everyone seems to be saying you can install on multiple computers no problem as long as you don't try to log in to battle.net with both at the same time. I have never even played online, yet I can't even log in to battle.net to access the single player campaign.
This is really irking me at the moment, and I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Have you tried contacting Blizzard about the problem directly? This would be one of the first things that I would do as you have already Googled the problem and not found a solution.

No, I haven't. I figured the response time would be much slower than here and that perhaps other users have had this problem. If nothing comes up here though I will do that.

It's an error you get when you try to add a second license for the same region to the same account. I'm guessing the copy you've downloaded has a different license than the one that's tied to your account.
If not, you're probably going to have to follow up with Blizzard support.

Have you tried downloading the client from the website instead? Discs become irrelevant these days, like many a times when i whipe my hard drive or choose to just re instal something a fresh i just download the clients with good speeds these days 4-5mbps i get on most blizzard downloadable stuff. I suggest you do that, as your battle net account should show you have a veryfied account.

Take it up with Blizzard. They can help you, we cant.
