Race:Terran Apm:over 9000 I have all of the tools necessary, but whenever I see a one base build I tend to underestimate it because I almost always scout it and I feel like im in the driver's seat since i know it's coming. Don't be elitist because you have a higher APM than the Protoss/Zerg. You're trading that disadvantage for the advantage of not having to be as reactive, and having a higher skill cap with your units than protoss' or zerg units. | ||

If you provided replays, and were a bit more descriptive, it'd help a lot... also, there's no such thing as high diamond, due to how the leagues works. Divisions and points aren't even in the lower leagues, because you can get promoted/demoted based on who you beat (mmr) rather than how many wins you have. There's nothing to underestimate. Have your expo, gain the HUGE econ advantage through 2x mules and same number of workers on better mineral field saturation. Don't do anything else until you know for sure you can hold, then go back to econ/tech. | ||

Assuming you don't see any micro issues (banelings catching marines, etc.), now you know you'll need a good chunk more to defend properly. Try to estimate how much more, and next time around, see if it works. If not, watch replay, add more stuff, and try again. Show us a replay? | ||
