I am losing points for wins. I first noticed it when we were 7th. It made no sense. We had just been 4th, and we had won. Well, we are like 39th now. Should we have stopped playing? Possibly! Being in Bronze with your real life buddy, though, are you expected to drop 160 points when you go ~10-5 in your last 15 games?
I literally watched us drop from 130 to 70 after 3 wins, over favored opponents, in Gold and Silver.
I have searched for a thread, typing in multiple keywords, because I specifically remember a "bronze players stuck at 0 points" situation that happened before. I just don't like that it is happening to me and my partner, who I am trying to enjoy the game with.
Do I expect to get reimbursed for the wins we were robbed of? No. Do I want that to happen?
Yes. The thing is, I know that there isn't really much that Blizzard can do in this situation. I'm sure they will update the patch. What would you all do? What is more important to you, improving via wins that you lose points for, or keeping your points by simply not playing?
I just want it to be fixed, and to have the stats updated properly.

I'd also like to state that it would sometimes give a weird error message when we were searching for a game. It would say "players found", and then say that a player has disconnected or left during the matchmaking process. We were both baffled by losing points for winning, and by it being extremely difficult to get a game. We had no issues yesterday whatsoever, and even gained points with a fairly even record. When we're winning 70%, though, all of the sudden the matchmaking system seemed to not even want us to continue playing, and when we did, we would lose points for it!

Well...rank doesn't really matter...are u losing your MMR? or just ur points? or both? b/c if its just points and ur mmr still goes up...then keep playing...MMR > Points

Yes but as long as you raise your mmr for winning I see no problem with losing points. Of course it's really bad that it happens but if you're serious about winning and not just getting points then I suggest you just keep on playing. If your MMR drops also then that's an entirely different thing and of course gives you no reason to keep playing whilst the bug still lasts.

if others aren't affected its not likely that it is a bug on blizzards end (ask your opponent if they just got points after you won and lost points again and check their match history). Just write an email with your problem explained to blizzard, if they don't reply within 24 hours do again.
The 0 point bug was something different imo. Sounds more like someone trying out a new hack, that only works in 2v2 and up.
But your only chance is anyway to bug Blizzard with it.
I personally wouldn't stop, if you still face gold players it means your mmr does fine, so no damage is done to finding equal opponents. If you worry about your ladder points stop playing for a while after that problem occurs again.

i had another bug on 2on2 RT:
im very high masters, basically max MMR, and when i random, i get a random (high master) partner and usually play the top ATs in Europe that are currently online.
Once, after 15 minute searchtime (yeah, its always like that :/ ), i finally found a game - i flamed my partner pretty hard because i rly thought he was high or sth - he did everywrong you could.
After the game, i watched his profile - first season he plays, 2on2 BRONZE with 6 wins. I have no idea how and why this happened Oo

does it say victory and -12 points on the match results screen? If so, can we get a screenshot?

Looked at the stats of your ally and it says "left" in alot of the games in his profile. This could have something to do with it.
But still weird and are you sure the mmr is not dropping? Looking at people using the results disagree hack they keep gaining mmr (since they dont lose the games they lose) so you might be losing mmr with this bug.

That's really weird. I've never had this happen to me before.

I do kind of wish there was a penalty for someone leaving a game early, because I think that the mineral sharing mechanic after one member of the team leaves is a little imba anyway.
