21.01.12, Moscow - 2011 was a year of recovery StarCraft II units Team Empire , year of bug fixes, as well as the year of the first results on the world stage. First, Team Empire became one of the best teams in the CIS. Secondly, we have turned their energies to the conquest of Europe, and she gave up, and Team Empire won SC2CL Master League . After these successes, we were able to break into the Evil Geniuses Masters Cup Season 6 , as well as GosuCoaching Premier League Season 2 through European qualification. Team Empire made them very effectively, taking home the silver EG MCSL and gold GCPL , and the results - only the beginning, because in the new 2012, we are ready to grow and become stronger. And our first opportunity to increase - rising star of the StarCraft II - Kim "violet" Donghwan .

violet - a former player in WarCraft III, who was able to achieve excellent results in online tournaments, and increase them for the transition to StarCraft II. Of his last achievements we can mention top4 HomeStory Cup 4 , LAN-tournament, which took place early in 2012, and we believe that such a remarkable result - this is only the beginning of the new year to violet . Now Empire Team - a team that takes participation in the international team leagues, and viOLet the same player who can lead us to a new level. Andrew Tomlinson, personal agent and founder of CSN Donghwan : "On behalf of Cyber Sports Network , I would like to congratulate viOLet with the introduction of such a respected not only in StarCraft `e, but in other disciplines the team. After Rachel" Seltzer '"Kvayriko introduced me to the violet , during IPL 3 , and told of his fate progamer, I decided to tell him about CSN Training Camp, and the opportunity to participate Playing our butkempa in November 2011. violet showed how quickly he managed to increase their knowledge of the game and soon became one of Grandmaster `e as in NA and the EU servers, winning 30 tournaments and finishing in 4th place HomeStory Cup 4 , lived only a couple of months in the U.S.. We will continue to monitor the progress viOLet `a and will always refers to him as a native, not only as a friend to whom he is for all of us here at CSN . We wish him all the best in the future his professional career, and hope that it will show all his talent under the tag Team Empire . " Kim "violet" Donghwan : "Hello! After my retirement from WC3 of SK-Gaming to me fell on hard times. Once I switched for StarCraft II, I strenuously trained and tried my best thanks to the motivation that gave me my fans. I met Rachel when she visited the base of MVP in Korea, after which she presented me with Andrew Tomlinson during IPL 3. During the conversation he spoke about the CSN Training Camp , and offered to participate in its program, and explained that this was a good opportunity for me to find a new team, after I left the MVP . I've been training for several months there, and I realized that now I'm playing better, than ever before, and I am confident that with Team Empire become even better! Also, I want to heartily thank Andrew Tomlinson and Rachel and all of Training Camp for the help I got from them, because they have become family to me here in Texas. To show how grateful I am to them, I'll wear stripes CSN Camp at all tournaments. Also, I plan to please their fans weekly stream, and plan to hold them for at least 2 times a week. I want to thank Team Empire and their sponsors for this opportunity, as well as all those who supported and continue to cheer for me, I'm incredibly glad of your support! " Alexander "StrangeR" Solomon, manager of gaming compositions Team Empire : "Given the high level team leagues, in which we participate is very important to us have a strong composition. At the present time it is very difficult to get a top player and current transfers - is a huge success for the Empire. I am very pleased to announce a contract with a Korean player - violet ? th, which will become the first Korean to Russian sc2 teams. Undoubtedly, it will strengthen Our line up and help the team reach the world level. Unlike most Korean players, viOLet can communicate in English, lives in the U.S. and has the opportunity to represent our team as the North American and the European server, as well as for all American lan tournaments, which is very important to us. lan tournament for the first of our new players will be the IEM in Sao Paulo , where viOLet passed, winning the American qualification. In conclusion I would like to thank all our fans and promise that we will do everything possible to achieve maximum results for all team leagues, where we play. Nice! This guy played very impressively at HSC4 considering he isn't in a korean training house. Good pick-up by Empire.

Nice for Empire. Hopefully it will put them on the map a bit more. The team is really strong but it does not get the credit they deserve! (And it was not a terran )

Gotta say actually really liked this announcement and the video to go with it - really helped brush up my mental history of violet's play over all the other teasers of previous players joining new teams.
